I still have a strong connection with anthros.
    I prefer the cartoony ones.
I have both sexual and spiritual attraction to them.
I realize it's humans that draw them.
So I respect humans as well.
This one is semi-realistic. I prefer if they aren't too realistic.
I realize others here aren't too interested in anthros.
I just wonder why I am.
Maybe I'm afraid to open up to real humans.
You can't catch diseases from a cartoon anthro.
    And fantasy never hurts anyone.
At least they make me happy.
And help with my depression and anxiety.
I find peace with them. They are soft and cuddly.

Yeah I got that you're into anthros by your past posts.

I do not know what makes people who are attracted to anthros like anthros. It's a good question honestly.

Maybe it's because animals feel safe and non-judging, and removed from reality while human beings always seem to judge and hurt and have all that painful reality attached to them?

That's just a theory, but for all I know, it could be WAYY off and the real reason could be something totally different. Who knows? Maybe there's some sort of weird spiritual explanation?

Didn't Ra once say bisexualism and/or homosexuality was (at least partly) due to the amount of times someone had incarnated into a particular gender? I dunno, maybe I'm remembering that part wrong.

Anyway, your guess as to what makes you or others dig anthros is probably as good as mine.

I find this one very inspiring. Not sexual at all. It's like hyper-real.

Just curious, have you explored playing in any Werewolf the Apocalypse pen and paper games?

Though they're centered around werewolves and since it's a dnd-like game, there is combat, the werewolves are ultimately the good guys - protectors of the planet, and from what little I've read of the main rpg book it goes pretty deep into brothership and kinship to one's werewolf tribe and the earth in terms of the actual non-combat rpg, and the publisher is known for a lot on non-combat roleplay.

https://io9.gizmodo.com/all-14-werewolf-...1738988364 describes some of the lore and the philosophy behind the werewolf tribes. Though I haven't really played much werewolf (one session maybe 15 years ago), the rpg system itself is very robust from what I can tell.

Only asking cause it might be something you'd really enjoy. Or it might not.

I may look into it xise, but I wouldn't really have anyone to play with.

There are usually lots of groups looking for more people at local boardgame stores (often they play on certain nights at boardgaming stores) and usually, these stores have a board posting where pen and paper groups put up information to get people involved.

Anyway just a suggestion, since the anthros pictures you posted reminded me of a few of the gentler werewolf apocalypse art.

Do you know where I could find such a group in San Antonio, TX?

Perhaps check out one of the board game shops here .You can call or just visit them the store, they usually have postings about rpg pen and paper groups. You can also spend a long time leafing through and reading the rpg/Werewolf books, they are actually pretty detailed and in depth.

And also these shops often have board game nights open to strangers that also may be something else to look into if you like things like that (board games are nothing like Monopoly btw).
I usually go to a few boardgame nights a year - done so in a variety of places - NC, AZ, NM - and always the atmosphere is pretty welcoming to new players, and I've definitely made some friends that way.
