Maybe my bed will be a better place...  its so hard to find silence.

I still think you're overcomplicating it. Just sit (or stand or lay down or whatever) and listen.

Or practice a form of moving meditation like qi gong if non-moving meditations are challenging for you.

What is your goal with meditation?

    To establish and re-establish flow.

The question what meant for VanAlioSaldo, but I do appreciate the answer. Helps to refocus my thoughts of my own meditation needs.

To learn? To seek. To discover?

Definitely to seek. But I don't really know what in seeking for. I figured the meditations would just direct me and in time I'd find my very own way internally to follow.

I do over complicate these things so much though...I make it this big thing i need to do. Then when Im tryingto the nitpicking of my self frustrates me and iinterferes.

I wonder if meditating with another would be better for me...naw i should lern this alone. Or. Independently perhaps would be a better word.

If your having trouble meditating by yourself why not try it in a group setting?  This may just lay the foundation for your own individual practise.  Also, have you tried guided meditations?  I think those are a really good place to start and there are heaps of really good ones online.  My favourite channel is called 'the honest guys' who can be found on youtube.  Best of luck with everything.

I'm no meditation expert other than not having trouble with it. It seems to me like a way to go back to our roots, which is simple beingness.

    Silence being the gateway.
