For those who buy crystals online - do you receive the product you have expected in terms of being the same crystal that they advertised?

I've bought them online several times. I once got a bad batch of red jaspers, but after informing the owner I got a new batch for free.

Recently I've bought exclusively through eBay.

Make sure to read the item description thoroughly before you place the order. It often says somewhere whether the item is the one in the picture or "similar"(which in the world of crystals, can mean a world's difference)

I think there is some policy on eBay that states that you'll get your money back if the item is not the one as was advertised.

GR, I think do not clean the amethyst it is well as is!
Also I know that sterling silver is supposed to be able to withstand tarnish, but to keep it under water? IDK.
I will share whence the image capturing technology is present to do so.

Smokey, Selene and Goshy.

Smokey Quartz, Selenite and Goshenite. I'v got a piece of Aragonite on the way which I'm excited about. The reason for the nicknames was basically just to give them that bit of individuality as I'v read you should treat them as entities in their own right.

My girlfriend bought Robert Simmons 'Book of Stones' which is an amazing resource for information on stones. The only problem is I now want to purchase at least ten and the ones that appeal to me always seem to be the rare expensive ones.

Whilst reading the book I came across Azezulite which has a very interesting story and a certain sentence resonated with me deeply but there are some people online who feel that Azezulite is sort of a scam. This is because Robert Simmons has actually trademarked the name of the crystal. I personally feel he did this to protect people from buying stones that where not Azezulite and it wasn't to take ownership of the stone. I really want to get one but they are pretty pricey...

Here's my atlantisite stone:



I bought it at a music festival back in May. I had a really good meditation session with it when I got back home followed by a dream where I was told I was looking at the site where Atlantis once stood, but woke up the next day with my neck in incredible pain, like so bad I could hardly move it or swallow anything. I tried to meditate with it the next night and got good results again but woke up the next day feeling like I had been punched in the solar plexus and I couldn't find the stone anywhere.

Since then I have worked through the blockages in my solar plexus and my throat chakra but I still couldn't find the stone, despite scouring every inch of my room. Last week I had a dream where I found it under my bed and yesterday I decided to look under there yet again and lo and behold there it was! I'm guessing this means I am ready to work with the stone again.

Dropped this one this morning and it broke clean in half. total bummer. I'm not sure if I should glue it back together or what.

Me and my girlfriend picked up this awesome celestial quartz, he came with a little name tag on and his name is Micklemaus. My gf asked him why he chose to be with us and he said for fun. He also told us that Micklemaus means fire breath? which is pretty interesting. He seems to have this alive and fun energy he also finds the cats very interesting beings .

I know it seems I'm in conversation with myself here but My girlfriend and I got some pretty cool information from our Smokey Quartz. My girlfriend 'activated' the crystal with using a pendulum made by Browneye. We both noticed the vibration change significantly of the crystal. The crystal is also a channeling crystal so I wondered if the channeling was infact of different vibrations.

Apparently the crystal was once under a vast ocean around South Afirca at some point of it's life. 'He' seemed to make it clear he waited to come into someone's presence who was deserved of his vibraiton. Made me feel quite emotional imagining him under a sea waiting patiently for us.

This was also the first picture I snapped, and I noticed a very clear bird image in the upper left hand facet in the image - pretty neat stuff! This is quite the synch since I just took some pics with my new camera I got for my birthday. I used the flash on my iphone to light them from underneath along with using various filters built in to the camera. It's quite the toy!

Neat. Black tourmaline is definitely awesome. Combine it with Pyrite in equal mass and you've got yourself the key to the strength of the human mind. Black makes you grounded and makes you want to think, while yellow and orange-yellow will create a bigger working space for the mind and make you plan ahead, think positively of the future and lead others(not in a negative way).

Fun fact about rutile: Any crystal that contains rutile formations has a special ingredient besides the original energies of the crystal; the 241hz energy. It's the energy with the sharpest and most densely packed particles of them all.

Its nature is cold blooded and serious.. Reduces libido and focuses the mind on power, moving up the ladder and make things seem more interesting. It's very competitive.

I might add that the crystal only really affects you when it is in direct contact with- or close to your skin.

Hmm. My largest pyrite is only half that size. I did have a dream I found some pyrite cubes just a few nights ago - might have to start searching for a piece.

Fun info about the rutile. I did find that when I purchased it, I wasn't as attached to it as I thought I might have been - maybe part of that is because it's one of the only (maybe actually THE only) pieces I've bought "blind" (pulled from stock @ healingcrystals.com). Still find it very attractive...

And the vanadinite is definitely a new favorite addition. One vendor had a large piece where the matrix tapered like an obelisk, with so many red cubes... it was magnificent! When we found the smaller, more affordable piece, we were instantly hooked.
