Ok, i'm sure there are many that wonder this, but few that would ask this question.

I'm curious as to how the pleasuring of one self impacts that person from the physical/metaphysical perspective and how this relates to the energy centers. In the LOO material, sex between 2 people transfers energy from one another.

Lets say the reason why someone would do this is to release built up energy. I would love to hear anyone's insight into this.

Now then to get red-faced personal...  I used to masturbate daily 10 times a day.  Yeah.  Yeeaah.  And I've masturbated in meditation as well as have spent an embarrassingly large amount of time exploring my male sex organ and my body in general.
It's a long story but simply put I am unhappy with my gender and I'm acutely aware of such dissatisfaction from all the hours of exploring this body.

Anyway, I'll sum up my own discoveries.

Polarization can occur in masturbation, but I think it's minimal and not even worth the worry.

The real thing with masturbation, at least for men, I don't know about women, is that an orgasm with ejaculation does expend energy.  However, without ejaculation, the orgasm primes the energy for use.  The most common use is ejaculation, which is sort of like throwing seeds on concrete.

I'm also multiorgasmic so it's interesting to note that by the third consecutive ejaculation for me back in the day, it was like my energy level bombed and I could take a nap.  Then interestingly 4, 5, 6, and onward couldn't re-create that effect, which tells me the brain's neurotransmitters can't be received in that same massive way so quickly.

So energy build up sexually is reduced with masturbation, but the effect dulls with persistence.

Back in the day, Cain.  I don't have much of a sex drive these days.

I can't speak for such magical use as I don't know since I don't practice magic.  It is my understanding that intention produces polarization type so maybe be extra loving with any masturbation scenarios.

My libido is a bit confusing.  I'll have bouts lasting weeks to months of a great desire to give, then enter into bouts of wanting nothing sexual, to bouts of wishing very badly I had a different body.  To wanting to receive...  My libido is annoying, so no worries, I'd say don't judge, your body knows better than us what it's in the mood for.

As for fantasizing about other people, that's one I've pondered as well. My general feeling is that it's probably best if it can be avoided, but given how our human sexual systems work, that's admittedly a very high bar to clear. My basic feeling is that as long as one is channeling green/love energies or higher, nothing bad would happen to the one being focused on. You're probably just sharing love with their higher self.

That said, I also tend to think it's probably better to stick to people who have "signed up" to be sex objects, such as in pornography or show business. I know porn and its creation is a whole can of worms with a lot of problematic issues; just that on a one-to-one level it's probably better than fantasizing about some random person who never asked in any way to be fantasized about.

That's a really good area of consideration, however I recall Ra mentioning that fantasy is better than suppression.  So I'd say don't force yourself to suppress or deny your thoughts/feelings.  It's better to just let yourself be.

I think of it this way.  Porn, is bad.  Period, no real argument exists.  Sex is a sacred act and basically all pornography debases that sacred nature.  I'd argue that it'd be more healthy to fantasize about a friend than to open a video of a tiny petite girl getting skewered by a huge guy.  In the fantasy no one was physically actually hurt, coerced or lied to, used, or legally obligated to be raped the moment they stopped enjoying the sex, nevermind the filming process which makes porn appear linear when it's actually filmed like a movie, in parts/scenes within each major scene.
