It seems like one of the hardest aspects of the LOO for some to wrap their head around is the basic concept of the universe being the emergent result of a single energetic expression.  I stumbled upon a rather concrete illustration of this, in something called Oscilloscope Music.

This is electro music that, if sent through a physical (or simulated) oscilloscope ALSO produces animations.  And this guy does some amazing things with the idea.  In this track, after a somewhat noisy -but technically impressive- introduction, it turns into an animation of a person riding a bicycle through some hills, then actually introduces 3D camera movements around the scene... while playing a toccata.

But what struck me, aside from what a genius someone would have to be to pull this off, is the basic nature of these tracks.  They are ultimately single set of harmonic tones\energy waves.  Send those energies through one interpreting system -the oscilloscope- and it produces visuals.  Send them through a different interpreting system -our ears and brains- and it becomes music.  Do this simultaneously, and they recombine into a new piece of art with additional 'emergent' features thanks to the simultaneous interactions of the sound + music.

The creation of multidimensional complexity, from a single simple set of harmonies.

And so, beyond simply being a darn neat technical demonstration of geeky virtuosity, perhaps this might help a few folks visualize or conceptualize the underlying unified energetic nature of our reality.
