Interesting Documentary on the traditional medicine man/shaman practises in the Amazon. Eight individuals (7 Americans and 1 Australian I believe) with various illnesses spend 30 days in retreat in an attempt to be healed from their conditions.
This would probably suit the Health and Diet forum better if it were not for the nuances of faith and consent displayed by some of the volunteers. Hi, spirit fans.
I am +-atheist also, and it does NOT cut off spirituality. My best 2 argumentS for those who brag that the mind does not make actions on the material are: 1 = The placebo effect ! 2 = The "random generators" ! http://noosphere.princeton.edu/results.html See what 9/11, #80 & 81 did on the random generators: http://noosphere.princeton.edu/911formal.html It totaly unbalanced the randomness !!
