The Yellow Ray is the SOCIAL RAY.
It governs how we relate to GROUPS.

A possible stumbling block for Wanderers is that some of us are Introverted. We tend to live in the Inner World, and the social relations we have are the ones we can't get out of lol. Think of Family. Think of Friends from High School or University (if you went to university that is). Think of your work acquaintances (if you have any that is
). For the Introverted amongst us (and I count myself in this category) yellow ray can present a lifelong difficult challenge; even when all the other rays are opened up, this may remain relatively weak in brightness in comparison to the other colors.
I think that participating on these forums would count as 'yellow ray activity'. It means putting oneself on the line, putting your words and character up for scrutiny by others. That is definitely 'social'.
part of coming to terms with yellow ray activity is working with the group. This takes a bit of personal compromise as the orange ray (ray of personal power) wishes to extend itself into the social space, but obviously every personal whim and fancy cannot be immediately satisfied in a group setting. Yellow ray functioning relies upon a sense of sensitivity to the group; being able to detect where conversation might be flowing, where to add your 'bit', contributing to the group effort. Yellow ray is about give and take, but in the end, everyone benefits from the 'product' that is produced. Through group effort something that an individual is unable to accomplish unfolds in the most surprising of ways.
personally I don't go 'out'. I don't go to sporting events, I don't go to pubs, I don't go out for dinner, I don't go visit friends. I do visit my family every couple of months and see my 2 young nephews. That is a connection there. So yellow ray is a relative weakness in my spectrograph.

how do you guys (+gals) stay connected to groups?
