Can the higher self teach one anything? If not, why?
The higher self can teach anything within the current self's grasping. The higher self does not function as a tool that enables general knowledge but knowledge about the current self.
So one could not use the higher self, for say, reading another's mind? Is this correct?
This is correct. The higher self does not enable further communication and unity with creation. It enables the self to better navigate the creation. It is a intuitive function, not a rational one.
