    So was doing some study on observer bias and the placebo effect and came across this video. I remember I think it was ZenMaster recommended the book written by the guy in the video for a good analysis of shamanism.

    Very interesting especially the recognition of the dark night of the soul with regards to a shaman development in there adolescent/early adult stage. Also how that correlates to people in Western culture and the phenomena of depression and losing excitement for life.

    Will definitely read the book when I can looks very interesting.
