Lucid dreaming is beautiful, fun, and an extremely memorable experience. I have experimented with lucid dreaming and wanted to share some techniques with you guys:

First things first, lucid dreaming works best with a nap! That way you won’t feel totally exhausted and ready to hit snooze town. You’ll need the mental energy to pull it off at will. Lucid dreaming is extremely vivid and interactive. It’ll feel like you didn’t sleep or get any rest after a lucid dream, that’s because you were present for the whole thing!

Next, start meditating my friends. Get your whole body in complete relaxation as if you were going to fall asleep, but keep your mind focused on what you would like to lucid dream about. Slow your breathing. There will be a point when you feel like you are about to fall asleep but keep your mind awake. Let your body slip into sleep instead. This can take a little or a lot of time depending on how relaxed you are. You will start to experience a dream. The setting will be random, or not, but you will be aware and able to change that instantly.

My go-to is flying! The sky is the limit and I can fly anywhere with a maintained focus. But have a plan, if you don’t maintain control of the dream your subconscious will regain control without you even realizing it. Your mind wants to sleep too and you’ll be pulled to just give in. Conscious awareness at all times will keep the dream in its lucid state.

A lot of lucid dreams start out as false awakenings and that’s great! It’ll be easy to recognize the discrepancies and you can recognize you are dreaming easier. Mid dream you can take control and do whatever you would like!

I had a false awakening experience, I immediately realized it and ran out the door to fly. I flew over the ocean, and around the pyramid of Giza. It was beautiful and incredibly memorable.

What got me into lucid dreaming was the idea of astral projection. Or traveling in real time. I read studies of people being able to recall things from houses they hadn’t been to with accuracy. I haven’t been able to pull it off but through trying I learned a lot about lucid dreaming. I read that you have view yourself sleeping and then decide to leave the house you are in, which apparently is very hard. In attempting to do this I had a lot of false awakening dreams, but could never view myself sleeping or have that out of body experience. Does anyone have any techniques for this?

I would love to hear from you guys! Wether it’s lucid, astral, or just a great and memorable dream you had Smile

This is great!.. thank you for kick-starting off such a topic.

I have an adoration for the subject and study of states of awareness.

This is the important thing I would point out to everyone here, - lucid dreaming is a state of awareness, not just something we go off into in the night, but right here. In physical space. In what we ever so much like to call "reality". The awakening process, at the point we are here, experiencing additional states of awareness, begins with the realization that at this very moment we are dreaming. Right here right now, this is a dream. Right here right now we can wake up to the fact. What happens when lucidity kicks in, right here in 3D physical space? Now THIS is a conversation worth having. It all is - it is just that this element of the discussion so frequently gets left out. And this is the real work. Bringing those additional frequencies, those additional  w a v e s  down into this one, and letting those reverberate out into the world in beneficial ways.

States of awareness and brainwave cycles (which I will mention as we are discussing 'dreaming') are linked.

The delta wave with ( causal ) cosmic consciousness
The theta wave with ( mental ) universal consciousness
The alpha wave with ( astral ) galactic consciousness
The beta wave with ( physical ) planetary consciousness

    Do you see?

All the waves are reality, and all ( of what we like to call ) reality -- is a dream.

    The question is,
from the level of our persons, who themselves in their own field clearly cannot be the dreamer,
    Who is?

If we are not the dreamer who is?

This is what we are awakening to on the 'lucidity' path. Fun and games in the beginning being free again, sure, but then its down to business, yeah?

Growing out beyond the personal field.

In addition to attempting lucidity in the other waves, other brainwave frequencies, states of being - why not also begin honing the skill right here in this one. Have you ever looked out into the 3D field holding the thought that "I am dreaming". The very obvious thing, is that we can begin practice in the dream field we are in right now. No waiting necessary. Practicing this "here" has a powerful affect as we go into the night. Where there is a sort of bleed-over affect. We find ourselves ( just as often, in direct conjunction ) inducing the lucid state "there". It just increases those odds. The more we feel that feeling-of-the-dreaming-state here, the more apt we are to feel it there.

Casey, wow! Nicely stated. I’m thrilled you introduced states of consciousness to this thread. Your mention of reality being a dream made me pause, reflect, and, ponder. Lucidly in my day-to-day increases self awareness, “I am”. It seems like each tapped into state of mind or vibration takes me further along like “leveling up”. When I am lucid I feel light, calm, and flowing. I have been working in the practice of non-doership and flow state. The obstacles that I face don’t seem as big, the problems, not as important, and the pain dissolves. I am open to any and all possibilities and know I attract what I give out. From what I have experienced it is so powerful, and catalyst happens so rapidly in this state of awareness. Like, scary fast. The lens I view reality from changes as I change my awareness. I am curious to hear your thoughts and any experiences you would like to share Smile

Thank you for this thread, and for all the helpful info. I can only recall ever having one controllable lucid dream in my life. It was when I was 17. My experience then seems like it was a false awakening, based on Loverising's description. At some point in the dream, I realized that I was dreaming and this was the first time it ever happened to me. Without having to think about it at all, I just knew that I could do whatever I wanted. I took off into the air like Superman and flew around in space, marveling at various nebulae. Since that time, there have been many dreams where I realize that I am dreaming, but for some reason I am unable to control or alter the dream.

One of David Wilcocks books he talks in depth about lucid dreaming. He says that he got it right at some point and kept having meetings with extra terrestrials.

I do remember my dreams and have a word document having recorded them through 1st of July 2017 - 9th of July 2022. I need to transcribe from my dream diary the 10th up until now from my written dream diary onto a word document.

I have found something different in my experience to how most people experience lucid dreams. I have found I have almost zero ability to change the dream. When I say 'almost' what I mean is that I can't change anything, anymore than I can change my real life. I cannot change what I am seeing. The only thing I can do is be aware and make some basic decisions. Ask my own questions from the people I am talking to and things like that. If I do try and change the dream it becomes a mesh of confusion, it loses all colour, and then I wake up. So my challenge in lucid dreaming, if I am to experience any actual lucid dreaming. Is to be aware that I am dreaming and to not change anything!

The repetitive sign that I am dreaming for me has been that I fly. Sometimes I think this is normal but at other times it works. These are not usually massive productive dreams. I had a dream the other day where I realised I was dreaming and made a conscious decision to not change anything and it is the longest lucid dream I remember. I wanted to go and see a friend who has passed but I was not able to. I was dancing with an elderly lady and I remember very strongly that I was looking in this persons eyes and I could see, I could clearly experience, that this was another entity. Far too much intelligence there.

Due to my current grief I have experienced a lot of energy towards "time/ space" in Law of One terms. At first I tried to relate to the spirit that has passed, but I found that this spirit was showing up and presenting things in a way that was not necessarily true, (exactly like she did in real life). When I have kept close to the Law of One contact, sometimes by holding the Ankh I keep around my neck, I feel I have been shown what is happening with this individual, where they are now in "time/ space" what they are doing. This dream I feel has made a point along those same lines. Firstly it reflects that my granny (whom has passed) may have something to say and may be with me.

Also though, in relation to the girl that did kill herself. I have seen it said a few times that because she was fourty years old and did not have a child she didn't have anything to live for. However, I feel from this dream that what is being said is that there are a lot of women that are elderly that did not have children and that is no excuse. The soul still lives within the body even if there are no children. We are souls as much as bodies. Having children is a large part a "body" need. Just my thoughts.

I am re- reading the Michael Newton book Destiny of Souls, and will re- read some or all of a David Wilcock book to remind myself things are going to work out positively in our society. After those two I will probably get Stephen La Berges lucid dreaming and put more of my attention into regularly lucid dreaming!
