Cosmology - Agreement between Rudolf Steiner and a client of Dolores Cannon

I first read Rudolf Steiner's books twenty years ago. At that time I was sceptical of his idea that the Sun and other stars, and the planets, were conscious beings. Now I find that one of Dolores Cannon's clients talks about the same idea under hypnosis.

Here is an extract from Steiner's book Cosmology Religion and Philosophy:

This spiritual outlook, thus attained, differs from the imaginative. In the latter we have general
pictures of an etheric occurrence; in the former, pictures appear of spiritual beings who live and move
in this etheric occurrence. What we know in the physical world as Sun and Moon, Planets and Fixed
Stars, these we find again as Cosmic beings; and our own psychic-spiritual experience appears
enclosed in the orbit of these cosmic essences. The physical organism of man now becomes
intelligible for the first time, for not only all that his senses take in Contributes to its shape and life,
but also the beings who work creatively in the affairs of the sense-world.

The following is from Dolores Cannon's The Convoluted Universe Book Four:

D: Where are these life forms?

 
E: On the various planets. Different planets have different life forms. There are many to keep track of. There are many to help. There are many to watch and then we introduce to different places. We do experiments. We look and see what may work, and then we introduce that to the atmosphere and introduce that into that particular planetary body ... with the permission of the body. The planetary body is a part of the process. It is a total dynamic.

 
D: So you mean the planet itself has to give permission for the different lifeforms it accepts to live on it?

 
E: Yes, and the sun systems are also a part of them.

 
D: Do the sun systems have to give permission or just the planet?

 
E: Everyone has to be in agreement.

As i remember the Hatonn are the mind of a planet.
At this moment i cannot find the channeling for it ...

There is the old philosophy of the Hermetic Principles too and the first principle is

The principle of mentalism
All is Mind; the Universe is Mental.

Yeah, why shouldn't they be conscious beings? They are born, evolve, burn out (just like humans, haha) and turn into red giants or white dwarfs...
The planets are also correlating with different parts in the human body in astrology, for example, mars - head, sun- heart (or solarplexus, there are different approaches)
As above, so below (another hermetic principle)
And remember, how often we say "mother earth" (and Sting sings "sister moon" in one of his songs)
Father sun....
and Pluto, the unwanted step-child who was excluded from the planetary circle

Now the question arises: can we discover in the cosmos the other contrast that is found on earth, that between masculine and feminine? Is there perhaps something in our solar system that brings about, as a kind of mirror-image on earth, the contrast between man and woman? Yes, this higher polarity can be designated as the contrast between the cometary and lunar natures, between comets and the moon. Just as the contrast of sun-earth is reflected in our head and limbs, so in feminine and masculine is reflected the contrast of comet-moon.

If we take our earth and the sun as representing normal evolutionary stages, the comet has not advanced to this normal stage. It corresponds in our cosmos to the feminine in the human being. Hence, we must see cometary existence as the cosmic archetype of the feminine organism. Lunar existence is the counterpart of masculine existence. This will be clear to you from what has been said before. We know from before that the moon is a piece of the earth that had to be separated off. If it had remained in the earth, the earth could not have gone forward in its evolution. The moon had to be separated off on account of its density. The contrast between comet and moon out in the cosmos is therefore the archetype of feminine and masculine in the human being.

The principle of polarity
Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.
