This is so funny, but it is also so sad that religion is being twisted in this way.

Yikes!!! I am 'probably' a vampire! Huh

I especially liked #25 Greatly enjoys cats as pets.

Yup, I do love my cats!

On second thought, maybe I don't quite qualify as having 'pale, light' skin as I can tan. But is it my fault I was born blonde? And maybe I don't really fear fire, just have a healthy respect for it.

So I'll cross those off the list. OK that brings me down to 10. Whew!!! Now I'm only possibly a vampire. What a relief!

    This is a joke, right?

Well, according to this comprehensive, well thought out, and non biased list*, I am "11-15. Probably a vampire. Not proven, but it's safe to assume so."

    *statement dripping with sarcasm :p

I've seen these forums before. Everything on there reads like a satire! To the people who "sell their soul" to it, it's definitely some thick, fear based, yellow ray stuff.

Although all the list items are absurd, these two really got me:
"21. Has sharp teeth." - Only us flat-toothed people are not savage beasts.
"14. The person plays electric guitar" - Keep your children off the devil's instrument!

"More people than ever are publicly self-identifying as vampires." It's all the rage... Good thing I haven't done so (yet! :p), otherwise I'd be ten points higher on the vampire scale according to the list.

Reading the comments, I think some people have joined the forum to actually post with a satirical ring... to kinda play the game and poke fun at the actual members. ... maybe? It's hard to tell!

The story is almost the same as why you should buy a certain fridge. What's the difference?
This isn't a religion it is a company and this is it's internet campaign. They did everything else and now are up to vampires, I'm pretty sure they don't approve of werewolves either. Which is a shame because they're much more social. Maybe it's because they keep marking the sofa.

It's awesome though... BibleThumpingBlonde how on earth did she invent that name? Smile Guaranteeing salvation since 1620! It's just brilliant. I'd bloody well want my money back if it didn't work too. Unsaved unwelcome. How's that for a company slogan? You just know the owner is a guy in a good suit with a rolex. You know, one you just instinctively feel you can rely on. So I don't have to worry my poor little brain about it.... Daddy?

The thing feels like the fox news pr group is moonshining.

I'm only missing "Jesus... He's that guy from P.R.... Love his sandals! One heck of a golfer."

Religion has always been abused. This is a benign one because well... Who apart from this very select group of intellectual giants would fall for it? If they were all like this we'd be blessed. These people are not our trouble or our enemy. I honestly hope they figure it out. Maybe by accidentally reading the bible and thinking about it from the glowing heart and not from the knotted stomach.. I pray god accepts this counterfeit coin and shows them his heart.

    Yeah I noticed that too.

I just looked at more of the site and, unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be a joke.

Having liberal views makes one a candidate for being a vampire?

Well then, what does that say about Jesus?

Never trusted him... Never trust a girlie haired boy is what I always say.

I thought the electric guitar bit was interesting.. Apparently electricity turns a guitar from an accepted instrument into the devils instrument... Hmm... So was that a bad thing?

Also this is hilarious and appropriate

That website has to be a joke! I just read a few pages and most of the members seem to be satirical. I don't think they're serious. They must be doing it to see how gullible people are, to see how many actually take it seriously. Nearly every post seems to be tongue-in-cheek.

Check out their explanation of stars:

Thanks for the laugh! I need to quit reading it. I need to get some work done today.

    It's fun as a satire!
