Hi!
I'm not exactly sure whether this topic belongs here or Olio, but moderators can move this, if they want to. This is about using mp3's or other music-like things to deepen your meditation or help you with it. But first, let me introduce myself.
I'm 16-years-old boy living in Finland. I have been interested in paranormal things for my entire life (especially in 2012/harvest), and two years ago I started experimenting with psychokinesis (telekinesis, moving things without physically touching them), and it turned out to be true (atleast in my experiences). This naturally pushed me forward into this spiritual kind of stuff.
I began to gather information from several different sites, read many books about the nature of life and everything, watched many online lectures (including David Wilcock's, which totally blew me off) and so-on. I also read this book "Thiouuba Prophecy" (I hope it's not forbidden to refer to other sources?), which was great at the start, but then I accidentally (or not) found Law of One, and the information of these books were in contradiction. But I think I felt more resonance with Law of One, so I stuck with it.
I haven't really read theese books (yet), I barely even started the first one, because the languange is so hard for me to understand completely. But I have browsed these websites, so I do have some kind of vision about this stuff. I also recently read a text called "Hidden Hand channeling Lucifer" or so. It was great, and was 100% in harmony with LOO, very interesting too.
Now that you know something about me, I may start. During these few years, almost every source has encouraged me to start meditation. I actually tried few it times, with the book called "8 minutes meditation", but it didn't really do anything and I felt more like dizzy than peaceful after meditating 8 minutes.
I have been doing some research, and found out about binaural/isochronic beats. Binaural/isochronic beats are kind of mp3's/wav's that you listen to, and they are supposed to affect your mind or something. They've never done anything to me really, just made me a bit sleepy I quess. Some people say that it takes for a while to get your brains used to it but I don't know. What do you think, are any of you guys using these?
In general, what's your opinion about using external help with meditation? If you prefer "natural ways" to do it, do you have any tips to share?
I think the most important thing is, of course, that I should (learn to) enjoy it. So how do you feel after your meditation sessions? Do you find answers to your questions when you meditate?
With Love & Light, Xplosiw
