Every single time that I am moved to express my love for someone I am moved to tears. I'll never understand this reaction. I am unable to speak and will begin to tear up or opening cry. Sometimes it can be embarrassing but is always an emotional event.

I was asked to offer the closing prayer during an organized service in church once and was almost unable to speak. I did express my thanks to our Creator for a wonderful service and a message of hope and love. Afterward, I apologized to the preacher for speaking so quietly. The preacher responded to me with a quote of a line from another conversation about someone else from another time regarding those in the back of the room being unable to hear the closing prayer, to which the preacher responded, "He was talking to you."

I don't think I'll ever understand the emotion that fills my heart and ties my tongue when I speak aloud about my love for our Creator and each other.

This is something that I'll deal with forever. And I'll never stop loving. Peace, joy and love to each of you, in love and light of the one infinite Creator!

This is so great! I know exactly the feeling.

Metaphysically, I think it signifies an "overactivation" of the heart chakra, which then impedes the ability to move the energy to the throat chakra... which sounds like a bad thing, but only in it's practical application which you describe! It's beautiful and perfect! Thank you for loving so much!

I also know the feeling, Billz.

Jade may be right in some cases. And I will suggest another possibility. Many wanderers or other individuals from the day they come here find it difficult or impossible to communicate to humans, because there is a gap of inherent comprehension of existence. So the throat chakra is what gets blocked or impeded, because the individual can not express openly, or simply gets nowhere expressing, what is in his or her heart or head. So in this case, there isn't an overactive heart, just a debilitated throat, which might create a bottleneck. This was seemingly the case for me. I learned early on just to contemplate in my head rather than share with adults.

Also, an open heart here in this world is somewhat anomalous in my opinion. So holding back in general may be an instinctive reaction to the general energy of this place, which would cause a floodgate opening each time you are called to express what is in the heart to say.

Diana, I have very little problem with worship internally and have used this method of reflection with great success. You all honor me with your replies; namaste
