It's an interesting video. I remember watching it a couple years ago and being somewhat impressed. While it hasn't been totally and completely debunked, I have some serious problems with it. It originally happened in 2003 (allegedly), but wasn't uploaded to you-tube until 2012. Hmmmm...weird.

First off, the video starts off by saying "this has not been edited" but if you read the description on the youtube video it says the audio is a mix between the camera audio, and the walkie talkie audio recorded in their office. So, it actually *has* obviously been edited, the description says so. Perhaps they just meant to emphasize it wasn't a fake video, though I often find the people that feel the need to state this at the beginning of videos are usually trying to hide something.

The next suspicious thing to me is that I'm pretty sure hotel cameras are legally restricted from recording audio, only video. It is possible I'm wrong on that, I need to do more research.

The next thing that bugs me is we can clearly hear this ghost screaming from behind closed doors (theoretically through the hotel camera), but John, who is directly outside the door, next to the camera, you can barely hear when he speaks into his walkie talkie.

Nobody has ever been able to verify or find this hotel (allegedly the Wingate hotel, in Illinois somewhere).

The other disturbing thing is that the person who uploaded it, "Jimmynut22", is actually someone by the name of "Turner Clay" who is a professional film director/producer (directed "state of emergency" among other things). He also uploads a bunch of other OBVIOUSLY fake videos (so fake it looks deliberately satirical -- in fact there is a link to one at the end of this video if annotations are turned on).

And the last thing is, the room number.....#209, which just happens to be the same room number that the Freelings check into at the end of Poltergeist...

I suppose it could just be a coincidence. I mean, I believe in coincidences. I just don't trust them is all.

So as much as I would LOVE for this to be real, I seriously doubt it, due to all these glaring issues. I completely believe in ghosts and all this phenomena is absolutely possible in my opinion, but something tells me this is fake.
