"Negative or retrograde moments" - Plenum - 06-21-2014 in these couple of questions, Ra explains a bit about biorhythms, and how they affect our experience. it starts here: Quote:61.3 Questioner: Can you expand on what you meant by the “cycling instreamings of energy?” and that last paragraph speaks of astrological influences. - - my question is specifically about this passage, where 'negative or retrograde moments' are mentioned. I am guessing these would be lower points in the cycle (energetically speaking), or in terms of retrograde, where the wind is directly blowing against one, rather than being fully behind one's sails: Quote:61.4 Questioner: Would it be helpful to plot the cycles for the instrument and attempt to have these sessions at the most favorable points with respect to the cycle? if I can quote that paragraph directly, and break it down: 1) "We may say that while these information systems are interesting they are in sway only insofar as the entity or entities involved have not made totally efficient use of catalyst" so again, a perfectly balanced entity (one that makes efficient use of catalyst, moment by moment) is not going to be ruffled by changing biorhythms, or energetic fluxes. They can 'accept it' and see it as part of a larger unfolding, or are able to use the catalyst for what it is, without pushing back against it. 2) "therefore, instead of accepting the, shall we say, negative or retrograde moments or periods without undue notice" no-one likes being in the low point of a cycle. The amount of 'energy' available is more limited, and it feels like more 'effort' to accomplish the same thing. But if one is readily accepting (of the cycles, and fluxes in experience), this should not be a big deal. It can be 'accepted' without complaint ('undue notice') 3) "have the distortion towards the retaining of these distortions in order to work out the unused catalyst." this is the part that I am less sure about. What is the 'retaining of the distortions'? Which distortions are being retained? Is that because in the 'negative or retrograde moments' we are exposed to things which question our validity and strength, and instead of being able to use that catalyst, we instead resist it, and try to force a compensation for it? And that is the resistance or the 'retaining' of that distortion? - - side note: in the passage above, Ra again re-iterates on two occasions that the group functioned as a unit. Don and Carla are the most visible and identifiable two members of the trio; Jim's place as scribe and battery is more seemingly peripheral, and yet absolutely essential (just like a tripod that cannot stand on two legs; the third is vital). "It may be noted that the three in this triad bring in this energy pattern which is Ra. Thus each energy input of the triad is of note." "We may suggest that it is always of some interest to observe the road map, both of the cycles and of the planetary and other cosmic influences, in that one may see certain wide roads or possibilities. However, we remind that this group is an unit." cheers. And that is the resistance or the 'retaining' of that distortion? Hi Plenum. Although this is not where your query is directed to, it appears to me that the 'have the distortion..' part is referencing an unconscious awareness towards the potential change and flow of our present attitude or 'state' of mind. 'State' being the antithesis to change, or a block of ice rather than a fluid attitude, therefore we 'retain' our attitude rather than reflect on it when we recognise a retrograde period, that may appear as a test. From past psychic readings on this issue It was recommended that I take time out to reflect or re-evaluate my plans when pursuing my desires (which is green ray in origin). Now, under the arch of Ra's terminology I see these periods interwoven into my path of polarising, as an opportunity for being patient, recognising our limitations and focusing on the positive opportunity rather than dwelling on the 'negative' sensations. So rather than feel up against it I can now sigh (accept with a slight grudge lol) and focus on some of the detailing in my plan to be of service. This makes the most sense to me when reviewing the 'retain' aspect to this passage. Hope I help :-/ Big love ![]() RE: "Negative or retrograde moments" - Spaced - 06-21-2014 (06-21-2014, 06:27 AM)Bring4th_Plenum Wrote: 3) "have the distortion towards the retaining of these distortions in order to work out the unused catalyst." I think what Ra is talking about here is that since we don't make 100% efficient use of catalyst in our veiled experience, some catalyst will be ignored or suppressed and the distortions causing the impediment to the use of catalyst will remain in our unconscious waiting to be addressed. When we have these 'retrograde moments' they are an opportunity to work with catalyst that has not been properly experienced or has been submerged in the personality's shadow. Much like when a planet is in retrograde it may appear that we are going backwards, like we are dealing with issues we thought we had moved past, but that backwards momentum is an illusion. The planets are still orbiting the Sun at a constant rate of speed, it's just an optical effect caused by our own planet's orbital path relative to the other planet's that makes it seem as though they are going in reverse. These retrograde moments then could be seen as the low point on a wave function, where the 'heavier' bits of distortion we are holding onto can be addressed and transformed allowing for the wave to reach new heights on it's next crest, allowing the entity to raise ever higher on the upward spiralling path of spiritual evolution. RE: "Negative or retrograde moments" - Nicholas - 06-21-2014 Space has nailed it here I feel. Great analogy with the planets and possibly some potentiator of the mind association also. A rookie like me should stay in the chat room lol. RE: "Negative or retrograde moments" - Plenum - 06-21-2014 thanks Spaced. I think you've given a much more fuller treatment (and explanation) than I did. the first part of that quote I didn't really read properly: "these information systems are interesting they are in sway only insofar as the entity or entities involved have not made totally efficient use of catalyst" Ra is saying that the cycles only have an affect on someone if they had not been addressing stuff beforehand. I sort of think of the full moon effects, and how emotional I used to get because it brought up distortions (high tide washing stuff onto the beach). If everything had been addressed already in real time (at the time of occurrence), the high tide would be no different than any other time. RE: "Negative or retrograde moments" - Phoenix - 06-22-2014 I've had this exact thing. I tried to transcend my distortions through loving and a lot of different other things. But I've found that I have to work with the distortions. Rather than say 'you are forgiven for xyz, before it is even admitted or discussed' I am sort of saying: 'This is what happened, this is where we are. Where do we go from here?' |
