Ra: I am Ra. The dwelling seems surrounded with the trees and fields of your countryside. This is acceptable. We suggest the general principle of preparing each part of your environment as it best suits each in the group with the beauty which each may feel to be appropriate. There is much of blessing in the gardening and the care of surroundings, for when this is accomplished in love of the creation the second-density flowers, plants, and small animals are aware of this service and return it.
This excerpt got me inspired to plant some seeds of flowering plants that are on the list of endangered plant species here in Holland. I also came across some good tips, the green renaissance website, on how to recycle some of your milk cartons and soda bottles.

The milk cartons wear out quickly outside, at least here they do. So I guess they best be suitable for indoor plants, I myself use the milk cartons for orchids and herbs (mint, basil and oregano). I've partially filled my milk cartons with clay pebbles and the rest with soil, this way the gable top can provide a draining system. So my version looks a bit different than the one seen in the picture.
The soda bottles I've used to plant the purchased seeds in. It's a pity though I don't have a garden but whatever little space I do have on my balcony, I gladly dedicate to nature. Hopefully this way I can provide some much needed variety of flowers to choose from for the bumblebees nesting on the side of my apartment building. Just somethings I wanted to share with y'all
ps Is anyone here maybe experienced in the art of Bonsai?

That's way awesome and creative. Are you sure you live in holland though? :p Never seen those cartons before. Oh, and I'm not experienced with the art of bonsai but you may want to check this out; http://www.bonsaiempire.nl
I do know that the orchideeënhoeve in luttelgeest has some indoor gardens with a couple of beautiful (large) bonsai trees. I'm sure they could offer you plenty of advice.

btw we used to have an orchid farm where I live that had these beautiful bright blue orchids that almost appeared to be glowing. Turned out that the orchids were plain white ones, only they added colouring to the water. I knew it was too good to be true but still they tricked me in to purchasing, 1 - 0 orchid farm

There was another orchid farm? Was it located somewhere around Gelderland?

I can't remember the name of the orchid farm but it was located in Overijssel, Deventer to be precise.

Oh ok, I was thinking about http://www.passiflorahoeve.nl -though I see now that one is still in business. Used to live nearby but I moved 'up north' (Drenthe) about a year ago.

My own mini pond, so not the one in the picture, is a little bit smaller. Maybe the one in the picture is just a little too small to keep any amphibians like salamanders, still that would have been nice though.

That's awesome. On the subject of milk and plants. Milk has excellent antibiotic qualities. Weather there natural or due to the additives administered, I truly don't know. However milk is excellent for plants you see with infections. Especially leaf ridden bacteria's. Just spray some milk on the effected area.
