The Quality of the Dreaming - Plenum - 11-07-2013

have any of you noticed changes in the nature of your dreaming?

I have definitely had different types of 'phases' of dreaming in my life. Some periods were quite intense, and were like movie montages each night; then other periods, there were just single scenes, sharply recalled, and every object, gesture, and participant present was coded with interconnecting meaning.

and then also long phases where there was not much conscious recall, but there was healing and restitution nonetheless.

the significance we place on our dreams seems to be quite indicative of the relationship that we have with the unconscious; if we respect and acknowledge that deeper part of ourselves, we will very much be aware of what is being offered to us on a nightly basis.

I think this is norm for most people. I have experienced intense astral projections to lucid dreams and direct teachings from them, to not being able to recall anything for months, to now being able to restart my dream log. I guess diet places a good part but also mental blockages, sometimes after an intense season of summer of fruits, the winter must come to restore balance. I think that point can come back to your thread about information over load? Tongue

I notice that the 'reality border' between both worlds is becoming more permeable.
I often have 'memories' that come from dream time, there is higher awareness of the time/space planet in my consciousness.
The soul energy that was bound to the physical body seems to have the ability to transfer at ease into higher densities.

The 'not quite asleep' phase seems longer, with the added bonus of 'staying wake' for conscious workings.

The thought form of "I am dreaming" during sleep.

Last night in a dream I was hunting some predator with a shotgun. I think I had a slug in it.
There was also a contest that people were entering, and my group was the least likely to win.
But then I found out we were tested to be on that losing team, and so I was ok with it.

I remember I was elbow to elbow next to a dozen or so people in my dream, and I enjoyed that.
I like being around other people. It makes me care. But I do like my solitude too.

I've always had long, extremely vivid dreams full of emotional impact. Some of them have been nothing short of profound. I was in my 20's before I realized that not everyone has those kinds of dreams.

I'v been currently working with a guide in my dream states. With a lot of flying dreams etc another thing which I am sure of is that in one dream I was showed something to do with multidimensional realities which coincides with a book im reading. The dream was like looking at the ocean from various angles as it turned from very real and vivid to very 'cartony' and fake looking. I think my consciousness was trying to interrupt what i was experiencing.

I want to be like Terrance McKenna says with the unconscious going away as we become more conscious beings. I'd love for me to be conscious during dreams. And to carry this info back into the real world. I forget my dream within seconds of waking up. If I could be conscious of what happens in the dreamworld after I've woken up, would be very nice. To remove the veil between dreaming and awake.

I've noticed that the quality of my being affects the overall emotional tone of my dreams. Have a very harmonious happy day and everything is fine..have a day where catalyst really bothers you and the dream situations are stressful. My dreams have always been pleasant, so I attribute all of it to the delicacy of finer balance as a person becomes more and more conscious. I think the more you become aware, the various feedback mechanisms should start presenting themselves to you..respecting our deeper selves as you said plenum.

Also, I would rarely dream of people I know..like one or two times a year. Ever since really working with the deep mind moment by moment, making sure to consciously identify with those around me in a more intimate way, did they start showing up in my dreams..not nightly but occasionally. I've also experienced higher states of consciousness in my dreams within the past two years.

I don't usually experience higher states of consciousness in my dreams. But from the dreams I remember, I usually am with people I know in the dream. When I wake, I realize I don't know who they were, but in the dream they were familiar.

I'm in a phase of not-so-conscious recall right now, it's been a lot of road trips. Going here and there, often a grocery store is involved (nourishment?). Various cohorts but no memories of anything actually emotional.

I do have clusters like that often, regularly I have "school" dreams. Sometimes I'll have a cluster of "hospital" dreams. Sometimes these are the same place. Sometimes I visit this bureaucratic office/skyscraper building but I never remember anything but entering or leaving by checking in at reception.
