All-Genki Tunez, All The Time, Please Thank You Longtime - Dekalb_Blues - 01-12-2019

~
"You’re always so selfish, just like a child."
"Well you’re always asking for too much!
What do you want? Tell me."
. . . .
Trembling, trembling
My heart was blown away by the wind
Trembling, trembling
Your heart is scattered
Trembling, trembling
Our love is revolving in space
Trembling, trembling
Quivering like the down from a cotton plant
”Are you even listening to what I am saying?”

Young Love's travails. 'Twas ever thus, East or West.

In Japan, when something is very small in size, you don’t say it’s tiny. You say it’s the size of a cat’s forehead  ( 猫の額neko no hitai).
The following is the epic saga of long, long Sakeru Gummy . . . and three young people . . . and two loves at first sight . . .
and . . . poor Chi-chan!
(The ad-writers evidently assume one gets the far-fetched pun of Sakeru and koro (a Chinese term for a culture-bound syndrome
of delusional disorder in which an individual has an overpowering belief that -- well, look it up.)

. . . No East Or West - Dekalb_Blues - 01-13-2019

~

In Christ there is no East or West,
In Him no South or North;
But one great fellowship of love
Throughout the whole wide earth.

(from hymn, music ca. 1836; lyrics 1908; John Fahey guitar transcription, 1959)

Well they say I should approach you with caution
But not to let you be aware of my fear
Never know what you'll find
Don't understand your kind
Round here
Oh, oh

Watching your moves they look so radical
Hearing your words they sound fanatical
Something inside reveals you're magical
Oh, oh
How can I get enough?

You're a strange animal
That's what I know
But you're a strange animal
I got to follow
Whoa, oh

They been trying to stick a line in your system
Analyzing the defenses you hold
Trying to open wide
Hoping to step inside
Your soul
Oh, oh

But everything here is unfamiliar
Nothing you've seen remotely similar
How can it be you're so peculiar
Oh, oh
How can I get enough?

You're a strange animal
That's what I know
But you're a strange animal
I got to follow
Whoa, oh

I got to follow
I got to follow
Ah ah ah ah ah
Oh, oh oh oh
Ah ah ah ah ah
Oh, oh oh oh
Ah ah ah ah ah
How can I get enough?

You're a strange animal
That's what I know
But you're a strange animal
I got to follow
O ominus spiritus
Whoa, oh

Oh, you're a strange animal
That's what I know
But you're a strange animal
I got to follow
Whoa, oh

You're a strange animal
That's what I know
But you're a strange animal
I got to follow
O ominus spiritus

Oh, you're a strange animal
That's what I know
But you're a strange animal
I got to follow
Whoa, oh
Oh, oh

Maybe some of y'all are rocky-rolly musicians making certain noises rather than simply consuming them;
if so, you'll realize what a great learning-resource Mr. Beato offers in his professionally-informed videos.
This guy knows The Industry and its Great Swindling Of The Philistine Masses from various viewpoints,
from the talent end all the way along the speciality-exploitation-spectrum to the corporate sociopath-suits
(who neatly do the bidding of their bankers, who neatly do the bidding of their Orion masters. ( ಠ ͜ʖಠ) Bwa-ha-haa!!! )

Practically speaking, the third-to-last Beatles song (immediately followed by "Her Majesty"; "Let It Be" later released separately),
presented here in its end-of-Side-Two-medley context:

Ha-ha, turns out The Beatles -- and all of jazz, for that matter -- sucks.

You . . . in due course of time:

Never mind the bollocks -- Jazz  will destroy us all in the end, as concerned right-thinkers have tried to warn us:

"The Problem with Music" by Steve Albini
(an independent and corporate rock record producer most widely known for having produced Nirvana’s In Utero [1993])
A classic well-informed analysis of The Swindle in action at gullible-signed-artist level:

"Whenever I talk to a band who are about to sign with a major label, I always end up thinking of them in a
particular context. I imagine a trench, about four feet wide and five feet deep, maybe sixty yards long, filled
with runny, decaying s***. I imagine these people, some of them good friends, some of them barely acquain-
tances, at one end of this trench. I also imagine a faceless industry lackey at the other end holding a fountain
pen and a contract waiting to be signed. Nobody can see what’s printed on the contract. It’s too far away, and
besides, the s*** stench is making everybody’s eyes water. The lackey shouts to everybody that the first one
to swim the trench gets to sign the contract. Everybody dives in the trench and they struggle furiously to get
to the other end. Two people arrive simultaneously and begin wrestling furiously, clawing each other and dunk-
ing each other under the s***. Eventually, one of them capitulates, and there’s only one contestant left. He
reaches for the pen, but the Lackey says 'Actually, I think you need a little more development. Swim again,
please. Backstroke.' And he does of course.

"Every major label involved in the hunt for new bands now has on staff a high-profile point man, an 'A & R' rep
who can present a comfortable face to any prospective band. The initials stand for 'Artist and Repertoire,' be-
cause historically, the A & R staff would select artists to record music that they had also selected, out of an avail-
able pool of each. This is still the case, though not openly. These guys are universally young (about the same
age as the bands being wooed), and nowadays they always have some obvious underground rock credibility flag
they can wave."

When the song was ending earlier, I had a thought that the ending is really badass.

Glad you liked it! First time I read the lyrics, hadn't realized it was about fate. Not being a native English speaker kinda makes you less focused on them.
