does anyone utilize the Bible in a serious way?
or do you just 'throw it out' because it has corruptions due to negative influence?

I utilize many of the stories and some of them can apply very directly to my life. For instance the last year and a half of my life has been paralleled to the Exodus of the Israelites and Moses meeting the divine in the desert. I see it like any other mythology, the gods are inevitably flawed but the story and archetypical truths are so very powerful. I think it is important for people to be pretty familiar with their cultural mythology even if it is for the reason of stepping away from it.
I think the bible shows one of the most beautiful representations of man seeking the Creator and the struggles of mankind. My favorite stories include: the life of David, Balam's talking ass (rofl), Daniel, and many of the kings.
For me the most impactful of the bible is Matthew and Mark. I also find the gospel of Thomas (although it's not in the canon) to be my go-to book for understanding Jesus and the Law of One.
I've grown up reading the bible and studying since I was 5 yrs old and have read the whole thing through over 10-15 times and parts of it hundreds of times. Where I'm at currently in my journey, calls for a rest from it due to a demiurgical complex built up in my psyche making it impossible to read without me getting upset about the controlling nature of much of the text and the way it was interpreted.
If I knew the original language of it I would enjoy it much more. So much esoteric truth is lost in the translation of it and the insertion of current theology is very much overwhelming the true nature of the texts. In the old testement there is much to be learned by the different gods that they interacted with but in translation it just says "LORD" when it could be referring to different gods. For example:
Gen 1 "in the beginning god created the heaven and earth"
The literal translation is: "in the beginning the Elohim (plural form: aka angels or gods] created the heaven and the earth" current theology masks the actual truth behind the words. I could on for ages with the rest of the bible but I don't have time right now...

I actually think that the Bible (especially the new testament) was one of many things that led me to the Law of One. All religions have been corrupted, but one cannot throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Let's rephrase.. Once you open the heart, you will start to take on an identity very similar to that of Jesus's.
Most people seem to put Jesus on a pedestal as if he was "more" than them. I wanted to point out that the actual difference is much smaller than that which is perceived. But you are right, my statement isn't correct.

I would recommend reading some of the gospels that were deleted from the bible. For instance the Gospel of Essene shows Jesus describing how to heal yourself from all illness.

Ra is not going to straight up tell us what parts are sts or sto, but its relatively easy to figure out. All of the parts in the old or new testament that talk of power, others selves being better or worse than parts of the population, bowing down, and people being told not what to do, these are service to self points of view. Service to others was more of jesus's thing. He only healed people after he asked them if they believed that he could. This was done because jesus would then activate the energy of the entity being healed and they heal themselves, jesus wasnt actually doing the healing.
Service to self likes to talk of stressful, scary, or worriesome future events, banish humans from eating apples and worshiping false god.
Service to others makes you feel more connected, a god amongst the gods, humble in our existence, and never say dont do this and dont do that, all is correct in the one.

I like the Shema Prayer, the most famous prayer Jews use. You can use it as a Mantra.
"Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One.
Blessed be the Name of His glorious kingdom for ever and ever.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
And these words that I command you today shall be in your heart.
And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and you shall speak of them
When you sit at home, and when you walk along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.
And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
Note that the great commandment of Jesus is a combination of the first three lines of this, along with Leviticus 19:18:
"You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord."

That would be good and all, but I can't trust God. Either he, or another entity posing as he, let me down. Ra on the other hand has never let me down. He's even catered to my sensitivity, and been gentle as he could with me. When I went through initiation to still my most severe distortions, he was there with me, telling me to think about the One Original Thought. That thought stilled my mind. Ra has also saved my life by guiding me into not doing a stupid mistake. They gave me guidance when I could not think for myself. Plus I have seen Ra, so I know he's out there.

Interestingly Ra's Name is actually believed to mean "Creator" and in Egypt it was believed that man was created from Ra's tears (Interesting, Ra is also known as "The Brothers and Sisters of Sorrow")

I can offer an untested theory. I wouldn't blame yourself. I believe words have power based on their common usage, and the word "God" as referred to by the mass of human consciousness does not refer to the being we know as the Creator, in my humble opinion. It should, but it doesn't, because far too many people on this world believe in a "God" who is judgmental and punitive. Thus, if my speculative theory is correct, by calling out to "God", I think it would not be inconceivable that you tap into the energy created by the mass consciousness use of the word, which is far from the Creator's vibration, but in fact something of a different vibration. While I think your intended reference by the use of the word "God" has an effect, I think you have to be very willed in its usage to overcome the mass consciousness interpretation of the word.
This is similar to what happened to the name Yahweh. At least, that would be my wild speculation!
