Good luck, Carla! - Ankh - 04-24-2013

Carla will be going into a surgery again this Friday, April 26 at 12:30 PM eastern time.

This will be her third major spinal surgery. In this case, the surgeons will remove a disk located between two vertebrae that has completely ruptured. The hope is that upon doing so, she will regain her ability to walk, her enormous physical pain will subside, and the 2-year open wound on her back will finally heal.

I have started this thread in hope that if you have prayerful energy to spare, please consider sending Carla a healing boost on her surgery day, and if interested, please feel free to drop her a "good luck" message here or share any love to her, in this thread. I will be forwarding all your messages to her directly, in hope that it will also give her that little boost of energy to hang in there. Heart

Thank you, my brothers and sisters!

In love and light of our unity,
Lana.

I don't mean harm and I am just curious. I understand that some form of injuries, pain, can really only be relieved by surgery (broken bones, etc); however, what happened to the "Pachitas" and other types of healing?

Hello almostdone,

Here is what Ra said about cases like "Pachitas":

Ra, 66.13 Wrote:Questioner: I have observed many activities known as psychic surgery in the area of the Philippine Islands. It was my assumption that these healers are providing what I would call a training aid or a way of creating a reconfiguration of the mind of the patient to be healed as the relatively naïve patient observes the action of the healer in seeing the materialized blood, etc. and reconfigures the roots of mind to believe, you might say, the healing is done and, therefore, heals himself. Is this analysis that I have made correct?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. We may speak slightly further upon this type of opportunity.

There are times when the malcondition to be altered is without emotional, mental, or spiritual interest to the entity and is merely that which has, perhaps by chance genetic arrangement, occurred. In these cases that which is apparently dematerialized will remain dematerialized and may be observed as so by any observer. The malcondition which has an emotional, mental, or spiritual charge is likely not to remain dematerialized in the sense of the showing of the objective referent to an observer. However, if the opportunity has been taken by the seeker the apparent malcondition of the physical complex will be at variance with the actual health, as you call this distortion, of the seeker and the lack of experiencing the distortions which the objective referent would suggest still held sway.

For instance, in this instrument the removal of three small cysts was the removal of material having no interest to the entity. Thus these growths remained dematerialized after the so-called psychic surgery experience. In other psychic surgery the kidneys of this instrument were carefully offered a new configuration of beingness which the entity embraced. However, this particular portion of the mind/body/spirit complex carried a great deal of emotional, mental, and spiritual charge due to this distorted functioning being the cause of great illness in a certain configuration of events which culminated in this entity’s conscious decision to be of service. Therefore, any objective scanning of this entity’s renal complex would indicate the rather extreme dysfunctional aspect which it showed previous to the psychic surgery experience, as you call it.

The key is not in the continuation of the dematerialization of distortion to the eye of the beholder but rather lies in the choosing of the newly materialized configuration which exists in time/space.

And here is what Ra said about Carla's pre-incarnative choice of her body's distortions:

Ra Wrote:75.12 Questioner: I assume that if this can be fully accomplished that exercise will result in total healing of the distortions of the instrument to such an extent that operations would be unnecessary. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. No.

75.13 Questioner: What else is necessary, the instrument’s acceptance?

Ra: I am Ra. This is correct, the case with this instrument being delicate since it must totally accept much which the limitations it now experiences cause to occur involuntarily. This is a pre-incarnative choice.

Since this post is here, I am assuming that Carla is "asking" for our help/healing prayer (as we have been told it can only be given when asked for). I am glad you posted this, as I was thinking I wanted to pray for her and wondering if it would be okay.

As far as I know, not only that, but that she always welcomes/acceptes any kind of love and light and healing sent into her direction. I was trying to remember where exactly I read that, but for the moment can't remember where it was. Maybe it was in her and Jim's blog. What I remember reading though is that Carla said once, that sometimes, when she can see in time/space all the healing and love sent into her direction from all over this globe as most beautiful light surrounding her. Gosh! I wish I would have saved her saying that, because it was such a beautiful piece of text!

Good luck to Carla, may the hands of angels guide the surgeons, and all the love and light infuse the care and medicine that she will receive.

I love you Carla...

Yes, if you check the blogs, and the bring4th announcements, Carla has asked for our "prayerful energy". The announcement is the text that Ankh posted to begin this thread.

I have been sending my on version of "prayerful energy" ever since Carla posted the date for the surgery. Praying that the love and light of the One Infinite Creator will shine brightly and bring the highest good to every self involved, including Carla, the surgeon, and all the care givers!

RE: Good luck, Carla! - Monica - 04-26-2013

She most definitely welcomes prayers and positive energies. She has spoken of this a number of times to me on the radio show. She said she can feel the love being sent to her.

RE: Good luck, Carla! - Meerie - 04-26-2013

from the LLresearch fb page:

"Carla surgery update: she made it! (We suspect that she may, in fact, be indestructible.) It was rescheduled for early this morning. The surgeons were able to remove her broken disc and, using a skin graft, re-close the wound that has been opened on her back for the better part of two years. They put two drains underneath her skin to prevent the same type of post-surgery infections that previously devastated the area. Though it is very early, so far everything is looking on the up and up. Thank you all so much for both the silent and the articulated support. We have been sharing your comments verbatim with Carla and Jim. If interested in staying abreast of her situation, Jim will continue to post more detailed accounts in the daily Camelot Journal."

Smile

RE: Good luck, Carla! - βαθμιαίος - 04-26-2013

Update from Jim:

Quote:The Camelot Journal entries for the next few days may be a little late due to the fact that Carla is now spending a few days in Norton’s Hospital having successfully come through her back surgery, and I will be spending most of my time down there too. Surgeries tend to alter one’s schedules, being very inconvenient in the short run but, hopefully, very helpful in the long run.

We got out of bed just a little after 4 am so we could be at the hospital by 5:30 am for an 8:30 am operation. Everything went as well as we could hope for. Since we were first in line for the day the procedure began on time and by 11:30 am the surgery was complete.

I got a chance to talk to both surgeons. Dr. Harpring, the neurosurgeon said that the pieces of the ruptured disc came out well and there was no problem left as far as he could see. I also talked with Dr. McCurry, the plastic surgeon who was in charge of closing Carla’s wound for the first time in a year and a half with what he called a “butterfly skin graft” using the skin right around the wound. He said that the wound looked much better than the last time that he had seen it about two months ago, but it had some questionable scar tissue around its perimeter which had to come off, so Carla has a pretty good sized wound on her back presently.

Dr. McCurry put in two JP drains to drain away bodily fluids from the wound and help it heal. In the past only one drain was used in 2011 during each of the seven debridement’s that were needed to scrape away the infections that developed so often that summer. Our great hope now is that the two drains along with two antibiotics, cipro and vancomycin, will fend off all possible infections.

Carla will be in the hospital at least three days and perhaps more. There is some talk between the two surgeons of discharging her to a rehabilitation center rather than going home right away. We will do our best to convince them that we can give her good care at home, but if there is an overriding reason to go the rehabilitation route we will have to consider that.

When Carla first came out of recovery and was wheeled into her room on her hospital bed she was in a world of pain not only from the surgery but from sciatic pain that is generated when she has to lie flat for very long on a hospital bed and from the necessity for a day or two for her to lie on her side while the wound begins to heal. She never lies on her side because the arthritis in her shoulders screams at her when she does. After a few hours the pain meds began to kick in and she felt much more like herself. She was even able to eat solid food for her first meal.

Carla and I want to thank all of you, her dear and loving friends, for your prayers and your good wishes for her speedy recovery. She is sensitive enough to be able to feel your love and she and I cannot thank you enough for sending your love to her.
