TED pulled the talks from its website, and then, after a firestorm of public protest, put them back online, but on an obscure blog website; they still are not searchable at the main TED site. You can view the talks (and I'd urge you to, as they are excellent) at this link:

This interview explains why TED is just another self-righteous agenda driven enterprise designed to increase funding for universities maintaining the status quo with the addition of a few random artists to give the image of being well-rounded.

If TED was truly about ideas, they would have A&E for truth, David Icke, and dozens of others giving talks forcing people out of their transcendental ignorance.
