Exercises to encourage growth - Marc - 01-08-2013

I've just recently been awakened and am just now starting to meditate regularly. But I am wondering, what kind of practices do you do to help you spiritually? I wish to have more insight through the veil, but I am kinda at loss of what things are helpful in that area.

Hi Marc,

my current practice includes ongoing self-forgiveness; for continuing actions and thoughts of separation, as well as all the past ones.

this is one of the most powerful tools that I know of for undoing the psychic damage inflicted upon the self due to the rigors and strains of 3rd density living.

The catalyst is 100 times stronger here than in any other density (there's a quote somewhere) and the unused catalyst often bounces around our head like free radicals; undermining our sense of peace.

its one of the biggest changes to my approach to life in the last year. It is especially helpful for the more sensitive and introverted types, that keep a lot of stuff bottled in.

self-understanding also complements and informs the self-forgiveness; but the attitude precedes everything else.

good luck on your journey; and welcome to the community!

blessings friend.

hey Marc

i think it becomes a matter of personal preference. do u like to pray more or to meditate. a lot of westerners prefer prayer over meditation. also positive affirmations repeated at least 108 times at a go are good. 108 is a number that is used in chanting. flower essences are good check out the alaskan flower and gem essences they are the best to me anyway. u have a whole wide wonderful world ahead of u my brother and u are going to have a lot of fun discovering it. the bach essences are also good and the california flower essences from fes are also good. gems and minerals are also great . try emilys gems and great south gems and minerals. and of course the whole wide wonderful world of herbs and herbology. brother u are in for an exciting ride. and its like an onion. once u peel off one layer another layers appears. it is a great trip

love to u my dear brother

norral Heart

oh i just thought of something else check out the book

living the life u were meant to live by dan millman it is excellent

(In case you haven't seen these before.)

Quote:10.14 Questioner: For general development [of the] reader of this book, could you state some of the practices or exercises to perform to produce an acceleration toward the Law of One?

Ra: I am Ra.

Exercise One. This is the most nearly centered and useable within your illusion complex. The moment contains love. That is the lesson/goal of this illusion or density. The exercise is to consciously seek that love in awareness and understanding distortions. The first attempt is the cornerstone. Upon this choosing rests the remainder of the life-experience of an entity. The second seeking of love within the moment begins the addition. The third seeking powers the second, the fourth powering or doubling the third. As with the previous type of empowerment, there will be some loss of power due to flaws within the seeking in the distortion of insincerity. However, the conscious statement of self to self of the desire to seek love is so central an act of will that, as before, the loss of power due to this friction is inconsequential.

Exercise Two. The universe is one being. When a mind/body/spirit complex views another mind/body/spirit complex, see the Creator. This is an helpful exercise.

Exercise Three. Gaze within a mirror. See the Creator.

Exercise Four. Gaze at the creation which lies about the mind/body/spirit complex of each entity. See the Creator.

The foundation or prerequisite of these exercises is a predilection towards what may be called meditation, contemplation, or prayer. With this attitude, these exercises can be processed. Without it, the data will not sink down into the roots of the tree of mind, thus enabling and ennobling the body and touching the spirit.

Thanks guys,

I'm also wondering about like certain disciplines are helpful. As in maybe yoga, a particular philosophy, or maybe even like an esoteric system to train in. I want to grow with my 'magical' abilities as I've never been trained more than basic meditation.

What are some different (safe)teachings I could learn?

Marc, I focused on my desires and realized when I thought about them, it attracted more of the like energies to me, and increased my subdensity. Slowly I was able to integrate these emotions/desires. It was a very difficult path, but built a strong foundation for me. It also required me to be vulnerable and completely honest with myself.

I never really meditated much, as I was much for tackling my imbalances head on.

Hardest thing to study and learn, exercise to not encourage growth, too much growth is cancer after all, or rather, unmanaged growth in all directions randomly is cancer, isnt it.

To me, I got too "high" in terms of energy not in terms of "high high" so I had to scale it back several notches. Now i'm trying to learn exercises to balance growth at waht it is naturally and just focus on what I want out of life and let growth come as a sideproduct of my seeking for pleasure in life.

Hope it is the best plan r ight now since apparently, jumping to another densities / dimensions isnt.

@gemini

Thanks I'm gonna try that. I sometimes just ignore all desire and just accept what is. (I think I was Taoist/Buddhist in many past lives) but then again I need things and it's ok for me to be honest with my desires and acknowledge them and use them for good purpose.

@Cyan

Interesting perspective on 'growth'. I tend to get carried away in my studies and I have grown in ways that were just cancerous before. I gotta stop being an unbalanced spiritual body builder and just learn balance and be.

This one turned out to be more effective than I originally thought Smile
