question to current and former christians - Plenum - 12-11-2012 have you ever had an experience with the Holy Spirit? I would be interested in how you experienced it, and if you can put it in the context of the Ra material in any way. I know that Carla calls the Holy Spirit by the name of 'Holly', and she relates to it as her Higher Self. thank you (I am asking because I am deep into ACIM, and wondering how to frame the concept). RE: question to current and former christians - Cyan - 12-11-2012 1st: Yes 2nd: 6th Density thought forms of STO nature interacting with me and showing me that I am the center of all that there is and therefore, in a way, above god, but since god is the 2nd to last person to merge with (if i view it as a external STS, thats why hell is the last experience in dante before heaven, long story). Due to the nature of how stuff is built, it showed me that if i Stop, i become "god". But as long as I will ever move again, i dont "stay" "god" but rather, I am and become god in motion where while my creation is perfect, my desires in relation to what I create are not due to it being perfect for that they are not perfect in the now. I would describe it as a interaction with 2 high STS entities that are also high STO because they are the one and same, but I Was approaching from a high STS point due to wanting a holy spirit contact, specifically, by name, and threathning death if such did not happen. Also long story. The holy spirit is... By my friends opinion when he was in that state to me talking of it (So, kind of to say, my holy spirits opinion of what a/the holy spirit is, differs from my opinion of what it is, oddly enough) That it is "a helpful spirit". Its just a helpful spirit that comes along and goes "hey, i'll help here" and since its only interested in help its "holy spirit". Kind of how i would describe my holy spirits idea of what the holy spirit is. My idea is that the holy spirit is the first reactive layer of the persona as you start to aproach the magical work of 4th density. ITs kind of "hey, i'm you, this is all that we've sorted out automatically that we know of the universe and right now, we are masked because we have not yet made deliberate changes to the universe beyond the automatic, i'm here to say, hi, these are our options, i kind of am you, but more than that, i'm the you thats always been aware of the exterior but never acted, so i'm supremely to the point of inaction, not going to act. because its the lesson i learned, but i'm still alive and awake." That is how i approach it. The holy spirit is your holy essence to your god self OR all the other spirits you see that just want to go "huh, i'll help out here" ITs either A holy spirit or The holy spirits Kind of either singularly perceived as plural or plurally perceived as singular, or both at the same time which is beyond 4th. I think, its 6th density when you conciously perceive and act on the perceived same/othersame border itself. But I digress. Since i'm still veiled i cant really know anything only make suppositions and theories and test them out But to me, the holy spirit is that which i just explained at and as. I hope it illuminates on the concept in a positive way for all RE: question to current and former christians - Spaced - 12-11-2012 To me the Holy Spirit is synonymous with Intelligent Energy as described in the Ra material. In the Bible the Holy Spirit allows for a conduit between through which one can access the wisdom of God. Interesting question plenum, I'd like to see what others feel about this. edit: I like cyan's answer. It makes me think. I could also see the holy spirit as a collection of positively oriented thought forms collectively generated by members of the church. RE: question to current and former christians - Monica - 12-11-2012 Yes. A feeling of clarity and words just flowed without me having to think about what I was saying. It was like a higher energy had taken over. I was filled with love and joy, and it just flowed out of me. It started happening when I became a born-again Christian and didn't understand why all the other Christians could speak in tongues but I couldn't. That just never happened to me. But when I prayed and prayed and prayed for the "gift of the Holy Spirit" as they call it, I had a different type of experience. It still happens now sometimes, so it had nothing to do with being a Christian. It's just that Christians are probably better at 'surrendering to a higher power' which is what's required to have that sort of experience. I don't have that daily interaction like Carla does though. I've always thought that must be really cool, but such a connection has always eluded me, even back when I was a Christian. For me, it just happens spontaneously, usually when I'm intensely praying for someone or in a moment of intense interaction. RE: question to current and former christians - TheFifty9Sound - 12-11-2012 To me, intelligent energy, chi, prana, the holy spirit etc are all the same thing with a different label. RE: question to current and former christians - Spaced - 12-11-2012 The Holy Spirit is also found in all the other Abrahamic religions. While googling that to fact check I found this: The Holy Spirit depicted as a dove, surrounded by angels, by Giaquinto, 1750s. which . . . kinda reminds me of this for some reason RE: question to current and former christians - Karl - 12-12-2012 It was a sort of ego malfunction... like ego-me shut-down temporarily and accepted the "rules" at that moment as absolute truth. It was a good feeling but also a hollow feeling as well. Oh course it usually developed into a split ego of sorts... so when I felt "it" it shortly became a function of a similarly functioning ego. The ego is a clever thing, a "non-ego" will very easily become a new ego function. So lot's of "positive" feelings, but ultimately devoid of self-being. That's how it was for me. But I'm a irregular person in general. RE: question to current and former christians - native - 12-12-2012 Religion wasn't pushed on me as a child, but the noble virtues of Christianity were. I never really believed in a hell, but I had a positive spiritual structure that guided my actions. I was interested in the paranormal and et's from the beginning. In my late teens I started to abandon the self to a greater degree, so my heart center was opening. There was a specific event that encouraged this. I used to cry over my own life a lot, but after that I could only cry for others. Within a week of all this happening, I was jolted awake one morning with my chest shooting up in the air. It held like that, with a surge of energy going outwards I suppose. As this was happening, a white/yellow light was appearing in my mind coming from the right. I knew it to be the face of Jesus, but it never came into full view. RE: question to current and former christians - GreatSpirit - 12-16-2012 I find it ironic that Christians who leave the dogma of the Church behind and embrace the true message of Christ, which is unconditional love, become better Christians, and thus better people. I had what could be called an Awakening and met a being of Light and embraced with a force of unconditional love. It was my most powerful experience to date, yet only a stepping stone, stones that I have slipped on time and time again. That fundamental stage was critical for me in my reality and gained TONS of knowledge and love from it. It also showed I had courage to change. RE: question to current and former christians - BrownEye - 12-16-2012 I have tested the compassion of many christians. Simply ask them if they were to find that their child was bound for "hell" if they would be willing to go in place of their child, in order to save their child. I have even had some that say they would kill "in the name of god" if the "voice of god" was to beam into their head. They explain that they would have to be positive it was the voice of god of course (LoL!) but yes they would willingly do what they were told, just like those did in the old testament. I think they have not grown enough to have free will or even understand what it is. |
