Dream-consciousness-work - Ri_Al_Aizaid - 10-23-2012

Hello human beings from the forum.

I come here to seek your assistance.

I have a question related to dreams.

All opinons are welcome, I can only expand and learn..

What follows is slightly long, and perhaps confusing. I can attempt again to paraphrase if necessary.

Why is dream programming more efficient for programming the subconscious (with use of affirmations and/or visualizations) than prayer (with very deep and intense and wholehearted feeling) ? I am so surprised to notice that I tend to receive deeply desired informations or inspirations thanks to the use of affirmations, a process not very intense nor emotionally powerful, but that the process of whole-hearted prayer hardly ever work, even though it is always extremely intense and emotionally powerful. The most strange is that these inspirations sought are with quite some purity of intention sought for service, and this desire to be of service thanks to the inspirations is very much more deeply and purely
expressed in prayer than in the use of affirmations… and yet the common dream-programming method using affirmations etc seems much more effective..
And I know for certain that the inspirations sought are in the form in which I am supposed to serve, that it is in accordance with the pre-incarnative
choice of service.. So I remain quite surprised, particularly because The Confederation often says that when the will is strongly expressed, the
desire intensely expressed, the faith very high, the intention pure, and a path made available such as daydreams, trance, dreams etc, then that which is asked/prayed for is to be received. And I have tried the prayerful approach for many days in a row and not experienced as much success as with the use of affirmations & visualizations..
Also, why doesn't telekinesis - and other such practices - work with prayer (by asking with emotional intensity), as opposed to the commonly used process which does not involve asking/praying the subconscious, but rather involves working subconsciously ?
I now write thanks to you reader, for your time and energy, and possible help.

Hello there friend, fellow Light.

Perhaps it might be fruitful to consider the prayers and dreams together, in that perhaps maybe your dreams are manifestations of the will put in to your prayers.

Also, what kind of prayer are you attempting to use to initiate telekinesis? Are you entering in to a state with the prayer whereby such a thing is allowable in your reality and thus from your individual?

I've found myself easily able to use telekinesis and other such abilities in my dreams, and every time I wake up from one of those dreams I'm sure I can get it to work in waking life if I just remember exactly what I did...never works, though. Of course, I don't feel those abilities to be particularly important to my mode of service, either.

Quote:86.12

...The activity of dreaming is an activity in which there is made a finely wrought and excellently fashioned bridge from conscious to unconscious...

86.7

...Dreaming is an activity of communication through the veil of the unconscious mind and the conscious mind...

... As a mind/body/spirit complex consciously chooses the path of the adept and, with each energy center balanced to a minimal degree, begins to open the indigo-ray energy center, the so-called dreaming becomes the most efficient tool for polarization, for, if it is known by the adept that work may be done in consciousness while the so-called conscious mind rests, this adept may call upon those which guide it, those presences which surround it, and, most of all, the magical personality which is the higher self in space/time analog as it moves into the sleeping mode of consciousness. With these affirmations attended to, the activity of dreaming reaches that potential of learn/teaching which is most helpful to increasing the distortions of the adept towards its chosen polarity.

Dreaming is just more efficient than prayer for programming purposes due to the "finely wrought and excellently fashioned bridge from conscious to unconscious." this isnt a detraction from your prayer which i agree with TheEternal likely benefits the work you do in your dreams.

If you will, I see prayer as being more creative, whereas affirmations are more logical. They are a steady construct, from A to B, This is It, Period. With prayer, I find the unconscious will try to spill out mid-sentence and say what it is your truly feeling. In other words, if your desire is blocked by other beliefs, allowing your unconscious to speak, or praying without really having any idea where you're going to be going with it, will allow you to reveal that which isn't working for you anymore.

More likely than not, there is fear built-in to these old systems, and so it requires a leap-of-faith kind of thing to allow yourself to express that darkness within you, that uncertainty, or what is unknown to you and is repressed by fear.

Remember Love and Light. Light is Truth, and if Love is the Truth, then just do your best to make your own leap-of-faith in trusting yourself to change in the direction of Love. Anytime you give up fear where it was normally a habit, you start a chain-reaction because you start to Be positive, and thus, FEEL positive.

Once you get that feeling, you'll begin to feel anything's possible. You get all creative, and excited, and energetic. You will know when you start to become the One you always knew you were, and have always been.

Blessings to you, brother.

(Oh. Fear makes it harder for dreams/prayers to program your subconscious, because at the core, you're not accepting and acknowledging that fear as something to teach you about yourself. It pretty much makes your brain a neurological obstacle course. Sometimes the best way from A ---> B is A---> ∞ ---> B, where ∞ is anything in consciousness that is AND is not your own concept of what B is or should be.)

Your replies are helpful, thank you.

TK is not important to me too, exept in that it helps me practice oneness, as in order to perform TK, often it includes experiencing oneness with the object and then moving it just such as you would move yourself, realizing it is yourself, or that there is no object at all..

"Also, what kind of prayer are you attempting to use to initiate telekinesis?"
The common practice is not a prayerful approach. To me it should work in a prayerful approach too, but tis hard in this density.. I simply enter a slightly altered mode of consciousness in which communication between conscious and subconscious are made more easily, and then in stead of attempting to feel one with the object that I intent to move, or even attempting to move it at all, I am simply asking the metaphysical self or subconscious to do it, just such as you would ask him for a vision or answer. I found it strange that it worked not in spite of the intense communication/command that I was doing, but I persisted very very little, attempting less than five times; I find it hard to persist on not-that-important and thus not-that-exciting goals..
