Welcome! I think you should post your story in The "Wanderer" section of these forums. It will get far more attention and more will be able to welcome you in!

Great to have you with us... I would very much like to see Russia's perspective on all this since they seem to be much more in-tune with this sort of thing that the average US citizen.

Promise to tell ya the story asap. But actually, here in Russia there are no more people asking themselves who they are and what is the purpose, than in US for example... It depends on what is the main object of attention ( f.ex. simple things like new job or getting more money)... many live like that here... still, those who don't, are impressive persons.
By the way, we've got a group in social network VKontakte (smth like Facebook) where seekers and wanderers from all over the country gather to get acquainted, and today we've discussed the idea to contact wanderers from USA and Europe and finally get together=)
