Welcome, and glad to have you here! I think it's a cool idea. Maybe I'll do the same. Out of curiosity, what's on the headphones? Guided meditation?

RE: Introduction - Hkelukka - 05-06-2009

3 songs i picked for this meditation

Civ IV intro
Aerie (from BG2)
Last of the mohicans -yanni

Welcome, my friend

Aerie (from BG2) is so lovely. My favourite character.
All the love songs are great actually (Jaheira, Viconia).

That game has so much spiritual music, it's a masterpiece in many parts

For meditation, I use Gnaural http://gnaural.sourceforge.net/
It's a pure binaural beat generator, nothing fancy. Irregular sounds disturbs me, personally.

Newly browsing the forum, so I'm a little late coming to some of the discussions here. Nonetheless...

Can you tell me a bit more about the purpose of this? Out of curiosity I downloaded the program (oooh daring me!) and my cat just went absolutely bonkers when I played the second piece. 'Course, she's still just a kitten so just about anything will get her excited....

To me, it sounds a lot like a fan... 'white noise'... is there someplace online where I could read more about what the effects are supposed to be -- and/or could you share some of your observations?

Thanks,
plur
