To live and to die for - Ankh - 03-16-2011 Yesterday I read the Quo transcript dated 6 November, 2010, which got me thinking. Here is the excerpt that moved me: "In doing metaphysical work you need to find your center. You need to find what you are living for and what you would die for." http://www.llresearch.org/transcripts/issues/2010/2010_1106.aspx So, brothers and sisters, would you like to share - what would you live and die for? RE: To live and to die for - 3DMonkey - 03-16-2011 Children. To narrow it down, 0-3 year old children. Does that make any sense? I would do anything for a child in need. Change my life. Give my life. This is my strongest purpose. RE: To live and to die for - Ocean - 03-16-2011 i would die for what i see as art, beauty and passion. (I think I've done this already...) I would die to protect people who really need it. Also I think I would die for the sake of freedom, for the sake of the ability to pursue deep inspiration. RE: To live and to die for - norral - 03-16-2011 very simple ankh i both live and die for all things family. wife children grandchildren pets nature all these things make living worthwhile and i would die for them norral RE: To live and to die for - AnthroHeart - 03-16-2011 Norral, I agree with you about pets. They are like children. Though I see death as the road to awe as they say in the Fountain. |
