Why are we born where we are? - turtledude23 - 01-29-2011 How much of our incarnational experience do we choose as Wanderers? I assume that the main reason for being born where we are is so we can have parents and friends that provide the catalyst necessary to become who we truly are, but how rare are such people? Could they be found anywhere on Earth? If someone moved to another country would they be avoiding a mission they laid out for themselves? RE: Why are we born where we are? - JoshC - 01-29-2011 Everyone, not just wanderers, chooses their parents friends etc. The self that we are outside of the 3d experience and the Higher Self lay out the entire plan for the incarnation together - I suspect nowhere on Earth is not accounted for in these plans. Edit: Proto's post helped me remember an error in my wording... "plan" in the above sentences means general direction, feel, pattern, etc as opposed to individual events. RE: Why are we born where we are? - Protonexus - 01-29-2011 Before you choose to incarnate on Earth, you are presented with an array of probability spirals and choose to leap into a path. There is not ever a hard line destiny that is written, it is chosen by every decision you make throughout life, even the choice to feel forced into a situation. Probability is the key word, you based your incarnational choices on the probability you would not remember your choice. When you intelligently penetrate the veil, drop karma, and accept responsibility for co-creation then all bets are off - you change the probabilty spiral and decide the direction of your lesson while still incarnate. It is completely appropriate to amend your path on the fly. RE: Why are we born where we are? - Bring4th_Austin - 01-29-2011 Remember that it is not only Wanderers that "choose" their incarnations. Ra says that once a soul becomes aware enough, they have the option to set a path for their lives. I have never felt like I was a "wanderer" per Ra's description, which has been confirmed by two channels. However, my choices for this incarnation, from parents to locations to recurring patterns and energy, are very apparent and obvious to me. As far as I can tell, I chose to "wait" for this time to incarnate, to experience and help aid in the transformation of our planet and consciousnesses. I believe the situation we are born into is the most "planned" aspect of our lives, at least in this existence. This gives us the ability to insure that certain beliefs and patterns are instilled into our subconscious, to help bring about the lessons later in our life, when we are able to identify these lessons and learn from them. It seems like a logical way within our existence to create a consistent vibration to help learn the lessons we need to learn. As for the worry of abandoning your "mission" by moving to another country, chances are a choice like that is not made entirely within your physical personality. No doubt your higher self would have much influence in a decision like that. Trust what you feel in your heart is right. RE: Why are we born where we are? - Lorna - 01-29-2011 i find the geographic question interesting because i feel that part of my mission is to be where i am, geographically, right now, for lots of reasons. i agree that pre life planning is all about probability and opportunity, but for some people travel must part of that pre life plan. one of my close friends for example had a life long determination to live in japan, i'm sure that was a pre life choice because it was so consistent across so many years and his life just kind of stalled until it actually happened you might find the micheal newton books journey of souls and destiny of souls interesting, they explore life between life, lots of synergy with LOO and the process of choosing or the mechanism by which we choose is discussed quite a bit RE: Why are we born where we are? - NegaNova - 01-29-2011 Hmm, that's a good question! I remember reading somewhere where Q'uo explains that at the beginning of 3rd density cycle, there is much less planning involved, and the entity just jumps into incarnation I guess, but since we're nearing the end, there is much thought put into what might entail the incarnation. I always like to think though, that no matter where in the cycle we are, no matter who we are or what we want to do, we are in the exact location and mindset that we need to be in this exact moment, and that's why we're here right now! RE: Why are we born where we are? - Peregrinus - 01-30-2011 During approximately the first half of the spirits first density, the incarnate process is automated, as it were. Once the spirit is capable of choosing, a number of things are done pre-incarnate. The lessons desired to be learned are chosen, typically three or four. The spirit then consults the Akash and selects the incarnate experience it so desires, and the selection may be biased towards spending time with or experiencing with other familiar and loved spirits. Personality programming (the mind) is chosen to provide the entity with the correct mental biases when incarnate to help learn the lessons. Location, culture... many things are desired to be experienced, so the spirit, although most often remaining with one culture for many experiences, will choose other ones as required to learn lessons. Location is one bias which may be involved in the lessons and therefore may be considered in that respect. RE: Why are we born where we are? - Crimson - 01-30-2011 Interesting that immigration, travel, etc is part of these processes. However, let's not forget that pre-incarnation programming is not like a a 3d computer program; it is open to possibilities and the interactions with other entities, with the environment, in other words to learning new things. If there is a Higher Self then it means that we already have experienced 3d, 4d and 5d and experiencing 6d and that this octave has "ended" and even other Octaves can apparently "reprogram" this one, for example since there are wanderers form other octaves. I wonder if we can "reprogram"/change the previous octave by actions like "splitting" the atom, etc. RE: Why are we born where we are? - thedawningbell - 01-30-2011 (01-29-2011, 02:15 PM)Protonexus Wrote: Before you choose to incarnate on Earth, you are presented with an array of probability spirals and choose to leap into a path. It can make decision making a little bit harder when you know the score. Even the people that have glimpsed the expanse as i call it,they can not hold on to all possibilities of their own life in this sphere let alone their lives in another spheres....not to mention the lives of any other beings within the whole. RE: Why are we born where we are? - thedawningbell - 01-30-2011 I have tired to fit the larger whole within the smaller version that is me....it just wont fit...The best we can do is watch it (the possibilities within our lives) via a slide show type deal in the great void on the cusp between life and death or rather what we know as life and death. Hence people say that they see their life flash before there eyes during a near death experience...It is simply that these people have reached the place where they can see the slide show of life.....I call this place a plateau, mostly because It seems so high up and you can see so much....It is my favorite place RE: Why are we born where we are? - Protonexus - 01-31-2011 (01-30-2011, 07:01 AM)thedawningbell Wrote: I have tired to fit the larger whole within the smaller version that is me....it just wont fit...The best we can do is watch it (the possibilities within our lives) via a slide show type deal in the great void on the cusp between life and death or rather what we know as life and death. This reminds me of a Ra quote: Quote:6.14 Questioner: I think that it would be appropriate to discover how the Law of One acts in this transfer of beings to our planet and the action of harvest? RE: Why are we born where we are? - thedawningbell - 01-31-2011 It is true my friend...Though Ra is but a spark and this Law of One need not be read.... Thank you for showing me this Quote it is rather interesting, and has application in my life at the moment. Accounts of NDEs and life-between-life regressions consistently show that we (even wanderers) incarnate in soul groups; that is, we have a few (to a few dozen) souls that incarnate together lifetime after lifetime, to work out karmic issues and to learn together. In between incarnations we plan our lifetimes in general terms and agree to incarnate in places, and at times, that assure that we have chance to meet up with each other to continue our work and lessons. I am currently living in a place that I lived in, in another lifetime, some 13,000 or 12,000 years ago. I have a lot of memories of that lifetime. My best friend and hunting buddy in this life, now, was my best friend and hunting partner in that life also. We were excited to learn that we would be incarnated together again in that place where we had such a rich, full life, so long ago. RE: Why are we born where we are? - kycahi - 01-31-2011 Thanks all, for this interesting discussion. I don't have much to add except to bring up the biggest surprise to me, the first time I read Volume 1: Ra said that we serve the Creator in the 3rD not by learning lessons but just by having experience. At first, I flat out disagreed with that but as I pondered it I realized that, with so many limitations of this plane, it's good to know we have a pass if we don't learn much. This is especially important if we can't learn because life gets in the way, so to speak. That is the experience that we came for. Not that there is anything wrong with learning stuff, of course. That's experience too. And, certainly, coming to terms with Wandering and going on that path of service is a huge deal. RE: Why are we born where we are? - AnthroHeart - 01-31-2011 I like how you put that, and I learned something new from it. I hadn't realized the probability was that we would not remember our choice. The thing is it's become so obvious to me, and I live every day with trying to polarize as much as possible. Along the way I've been smacked with some energetic signposts. If I were there in prelife now, I probably would have made the seeking a little more challenging, in order to maximize my polarity. When I seek, I got a little too curious and woke up quite easily. So I get the feeling that maybe my prelife decision was that I would indeed remember, and by knowing (as much as is able with the veil), I can consciously spend my time going all out on this polarity thing.
