Neon Genesis Evangelion - pat19989 - 10-05-2021
Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.
I watched this anime show called Neon Genesis Evangelion about a month ago. It hooked me so severely I think I got through it in a few days.
I have created this thread because for one, it was an incredible show that resonated with me emotionally and spiritually, but also because it brings up a lot of interesting concepts of the Harvest, the formation of a social memory complex, the breakdown of our egos etc.
If you have not watched it, I would highly recommend, and if you have watched it, do you have any thoughts? How did you like the ending?

That happened to me when I watched Death Note (years ago). I couldn't stop watching it. My nephew thought I would like it so he burned disks for me and since then I have gone through the whole series 3 times.

I watched it on Netflix! There are a couple movies in the same universe so make sure you watch the series first! I have also been hooked on Death Note, but I never finished it ! I will finish it eventually, that Light Yagami is really something. I loved Ryuk so much, I was very addicted to nicotine when i watched it originally and that bit about apples being the equivalent to alcohol and nicotine for him about killed me hahahah

What a coincidence, I was watching the opening yesterday (the music is soooo good!) and thinking that I should really continue watching it --I've watched only the first episode so far. Thank you for this post, I'll definitely think a lot about the LOO concepts while watching it!
