Superintelligence: The Idea That Eats Smart People - Asolsutsesvyl - 02-12-2021 This article compares artificial intelligence doomsday alarmism (prominent both inside and outside of academia) to a cult: Superintelligence: The Idea That Eats Smart People. Apart from being about AI alarmism - and providing counterarguments for specific arguments used for it - it is a humoristic and thoughtful examination of cult-like mentalities in general, in a very modern and idea-centric take on the meaning of cults. Inside an intellectual groupthink-practicing circle of people, there's the shared "specific content" which is used to build "crystal palaces of thought", and defend them. Outside, there's only the "form and context" visible, which outsiders judge intuitively in order to say "it's a cult", which can be argued against on the inside. A "self-reinforcing worldview" is a key feature of such cults, though that would happen with a genuine scientific breakthrough too. When I first read this article a longer time ago, it helped me to bridge the gap between conventional thinking about cults, and examining something which does not necessarily fit that mold, namely intellectually sophisticated groups which wall themselves off from the outside world with their mental constructs while in some respects staying away from traditional attributes of cults. Absolutely. A few weeks ago I played an experiment on one of the "Microsoft's Slots" games. It was a free game, and you did not play with "Real" money, only, (worthless), "Virtual" money and no goal at the end. The purpose of the game is to get you addicted to gambling, (did they think I was gullible). Over a couple of months I accumulated about two and a half billion coins, and winning the hourly bonus of billions of coins became elusive, (inbuilt Artificial Intelligence to make sure don't). The point is, after two months of playing it started to become boring, and I was playing less and less. Then I decided, "Experiment Time". I love playing, "Who is in command here", (and do I look stupid). So, for two weeks I ignored the game, knowing that the "Artificial Intelligence" was missing me, because each time you loaded the program, it showed how many hours it had been since you last played. Let's see who is the more intelligent here? Finally, two weeks later I loaded the game. Honey, I am home. The game took twice as long to load than usual because I had confused the Artificial Intelligence, because once a week the weekly bonuses change, (incentives to buy extra coins and bonuses), and the game was two weeks out of date. I received the "Daily Bonus", and it was at least ten times higher than I would usually receive during normal play. It then loaded the "Hourly Bonus", and that too was unusually high. I then began playing. All very high winning spins. I, (literally), won in an hour, what would usually take a week. The wins were massive. After an hour of playing I stopped, (boredom was setting-in). Exiting the program. The next day I loaded the program. Honey, I am back. The program couldn't load. It loaded about fifty percent and stopped. I think I messed-up the Artificial Intelligence. At which point I uninstalled the program, and I haven't bothered going back to the Microsoft Store to download it, (again). Do I look stupid? Nobody messes with this man. RE: Superintelligence: The Idea That Eats Smart People - STAR-ONE - 03-30-2021 This "AI" and I think the way demonic forces communicate with each other and especially manipulate us. This signal coming from I do not know where, is able by connecting to our brains (we are transmitting and receiving antennas) to manipulate / control / weaken us, to lower our vibrations in short. The only way to get rid of it and create an interference that will amplify the signal (opposite phase) and thus destroy it. Brains connected to the high vibrations will vibrate at frequencies that this evil signal cannot reach, it has been said by members of the confederation that reconnection, by the ability to elevate our consciousness to the source (the real one) is the only way to emerge victorious. I'm really worried that the English translation of my French texts won't mean anything, sorry if my sentences sound wrong RE: Superintelligence: The Idea That Eats Smart People - Ming the Merciful - 03-30-2021 (03-30-2021, 02:21 AM)STAR-ONE Wrote: This "AI" and I think the way demonic forces communicate with each other and especially manipulate us. Artificial Intelligence, (lack of intelligence), is everywhere, and in everything. When we are online, how do we not know that our computer is not, (secretly), communicating with another computer somewhere out in the VOID? Enquiry? In another scientific thread, I mentioned I had a "Windows 10", update, (except), unlike most updates, and the way the update was installed, it appeared as if Windows was reinstalling itself. You know how it is when you start a computer for the first time when it is new, (First Boot on the System), or you reinstall Windows because it has to be done. That is what the update was like. The update, (literally), took an hour, and went through four restarts, installing yet more updated data. The question I ask, what is Microsoft installing on your computer? As for appearances, nothing has changed, except it maybe slightly faster online. It takes an hour to install updates and no changes in the Operating System. Bill Gates, explain yourself? I also have another question. If I was to hack this website, that is illegal? Correct? Correct. However, without your permission, Microsoft frequently hacks your computer to install a, (supposed), update. How is that not "Hacking"? Microsoft does not ask you if you would, (supposedly), want an update of the Operating System. You don't know what they are installing? The Microsoft Operating System is built in such a way that there are so many subversive files and software that you know nothing about. Folder within Folder, and Hidden Folder within Hidden Folders, (and no access to them). The mystery continues, (does it not)? :@ RE: Superintelligence: The Idea That Eats Smart People - Ymarsakar - 03-30-2021 Gates is gone.
