Physicality - Bosphorus1982 - 01-19-2021 Hi dear folks. I'd like to talk about physicality. In recent years, i've been feeling more and more away from it. Like sexuality, drinking, eating etc. Whenever i'm across sexuality, i feel more and more alienated and though i would enjoy union with someone else (female), it's no longer appealing. Just a few hours ago, i was watching Elton John's I'm still standing. You know, there is a scene in which, sexuality is represented(implicitly). Though i'm not homosexual, i found it not so spiritually mature; not like Ra has described of 6th density beings who seek fusion. And same for eating and monetary things. They are sometimes disgusting me. I'd like to distribute all the money that i have to those in need. I don't know, if you feel the same; i'm experiencing these things more frequently. This 3d physical world is like losing its appeal to me. I just wrote something i've been feeling nowadays. Take care RE: Physicality - BrotherInWaiting - 01-19-2021 I've had points at which I was exposed to that sentiment, the biological and unappealing nature of the sex act. I haven't felt quite so strongly the same about eating and money. If you want to cajole yourself towards accepting them more, which seems like it may be the case -- you could pretend you're a traveller who has temporarily misplaced their passport and wallet. You're stuck here and you may not like the local 'food'... but that's what's going. RE: Physicality - dreamoftheiris - 01-19-2021 Learning to put Spirit in command of the physical is ultimately the point of all of us being here. The Divine works through us. So do lower forces. It's up to you to choose which force to align with. The physical universe can be a wonderful learning experience and ultimately that was the purpose of it before it became corrupted. This is part of the work that all of us are here to do - to help bring the physical back under the command of the Divine. Sex is a very powerful force which unfortunately has been misunderstood by most people. It can, however, lead to incredible insights, new heights in spiritual consciousness, and all sorts of very amazing and wonderful things given the right intention and the right partner. RE: Physicality - Asolsutsesvyl - 02-24-2021 I feel similar in a way, that the physical existence, including how life forms eat other life forms (whether plant, animal, etc.), tends to be ugly. It's something that comes and goes from my focus, otherwise I'd find existence ugly all the time, and when my attention is directed differently, then I can enjoy the more beautiful aspects which are also there. As a means of consciousness existing in a world with other consciousness-units and interacting with them, physical life is rather cramped and limited. So much focus is taken up by biological needs that it is only through help of others and/or great technology that focus becomes free to move onto other things in larger part. Without physical needs and constraints, focus could move away from money, greed, resource gathering and related conflicts, politics, and more. All of that baggage is inseparable from the physical nature humanity is stuck with. (Though presumably the limiting and conflict-centered things can also be reinvented and furthered at a higher level, as do higher-density STS beings, instead of leaving it all behind.) RE: Physicality - Raukura Waihaha - 02-24-2021 Gratitude. Grounding. I used to have these feelings until I started focusing on being grateful for what I have. This put me in a more receptive place when dealing with things I found less appealing and helped with finding different ways of looking at things. Grounding by accepting all as self and self as all will help too. I don't necessarily think it's about bringing the physical back under the command of the divine but realising that physicality is an extention of it, which requires knowledge of self. There is a bedrock of the Self though, so to speak. Do not stay only within. Reach out, for there might be others in the same ocean of Self as you. When you create, you relate to others' creations. Then, you may form bonds with other-Selves. |
