Please do not engage with a negative messages. It's another programming and if you wish to believe it's becoming part of your consciousness reality. It does not matter what someone is doing or what is the agenda of someone it's simply a matter picture frame in your holographic expression -another channel. Do not engage if you don't wish to. The only way to do that is to think positive choose what you want to believe in your reality to be. i guess the message of "only focus on the positive" just doesn't sound like a way to help anyone with anything.... if there's negativity, why ignore it? how can we better understand ourselves if we only focus on the positive? what good would that do? if someone is feeling depressed, saying "just focus on the positive" does not help them at all, in fact, i think it would do much more harm than help....
maybe im not understanding.... anyways....

The quote (I won't check the link, as I no longer use Facebook) reminds me of a simple metaphor for such "positive psychology". Alcohol. Restricting consciousness to only what feels positive is very much like what people often get drunk in order to accomplish. Sometimes, psychology is used to do the same thing. Some types of New Age teaching combine that with great visions of unity and playing a positive part in creation.
Agua put a finer point to a healthy alternative than I can formulate. But I'm reminded of something related, a Carl Jung quote: "People do not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious."

In that a forced focus on the positive is extremely counterproductive.
A community I learned from in the past often points out that teachings of blocking out what is found negative are actually fear-based teaching in disguise.
People who think that they must feel and think only what feels positive in order to manifest positively fear the opposite happening. They fear that any negative thoughts or feelings will mess up their reality. This limits them to living in a little corner of the inner world, a prison of their own making.
But at the same time, that community did something related, but a bit different. It teaches that being true to reality at all times is the real meaning of positivity. Including the spiritual in the meaning of what is real, what they then call objectivity becomes practically the meaning of positivity. But then, everything they find to be subjective is something to avoid. And the expanded definition of objective/subjective becomes slippery, the pair of words used to describe too much. Subjectively seeing subjectivity, they then block out large areas of the inner world, and everything "subjective" which points them to explore it, seeing it as negative.
There are many ways in which a division into acceptable and not acceptable can end up being made. But any such division in what is allowed to exist inside creates blockages, and imbalances which build over the years.

It is good to realize where we actually feed negativity constantly and reduce that, instead of working against it with focus.
I used to be very tense, and had a lot of old negative baggage I couldn't work through. (A lot of progress made, but it isn't complete, by any means.) It turned into something which in part kept me frozen and rigid inside. When life goes on on that basis, then everything becomes intensely focused and effort-driven. If the baggage is not resolved, then one or another pattern of "always struggling" will be kept.
It was not easy to break out of, because relaxing in any way automatically resulted in becoming more tense in some other way. But the intense focus brought me to a breakthrough which was like "The Tower" in terms of the Tarot. Clarity first, then living through the hidden nightmare until it dissolves.
Some are hit so hard emotionally, in some way in the past, that the only way past it, and beyond finding life basically miserable, is to somehow make progress towards clarity and a kind of inner strength despite the great burden which is not resolved, until there is the strength and preparation to deal with it. It can happen if no other way is found, and there is enough inner "charge" to not stop before the end of the tunnel is reached.
But it is quite a headache to deal with all the charged-up contradictions on an emotional level which have built up. Clarity dissapears until it slowly rebuilds in a fuller and more balanced way.

Ah, I am so dealing with this at the moment. Had a huge turning point in making the unconscious conscious, but now it almost feels like I have multiple personalities. The fragmentation in early trauma is real. Hoping it will all come together. If you have any other insights/advice/suggestions, I'd love to hear it.

I remember reading about how a lot of the communes people tried to create in the 60s ran in to a problem of anti-intellectualism...
If you have a ton of people living together for free on a limited patch of land that don't want to live ruled by money...
and you're telling everyone to just be positive, no one is allowed to have bad thoughts..
That just sounds like a circus show full of lazy people. It devolved in to a few hard workers supporting a lot of very lazy people in a place where there were no requirements for entry. There were costs in operating places like that and peoples living standards went really bad and everyone would just say "You're not being positive" lol.
Communes don't...really exist in their truest sense in the first world anymore. The ones that haven't failed require you to pay a large one time fee or just rent by whatever other system they have in place..they're not free spaces like the original intention was. The few left don't generally have large numbers of people because they either must not be all that great or they cost too much to get in to.
Some now even call themselves "intentional communities" wtf is that? We all pay to be around neighbors perpetually overjoyed with good intentions for each other? Weird. I think I'll pass that sounds very fake and a waste of time. I prefer practicing methods of understanding, not just expecting magic to unfold because everyone, no matter how dumb- has a forced smile on their face when they need to confront a forest fire.

Level V: Secondary integration. A few bring the process to completion, the result being a new harmony in which what is valued is consciously lived.
In short, the work of "making the darkness conscious" depends on something positive having been built, which can enlighten the darker parts of the person. It often takes years of intense inner conflict before that can happen. Thereafter, a fuller and genuinely positive harmony can begin to encompass the whole of the psyche.
That was from a discussion in which I made the case that conflict, judgment, etc., can very much be part of the inner life of positive people during long stages of development. It doesn't help to judge judgment to be so negative that it cannot be allowed in positive people. Even though it's often part of a wall which prevents fuller understanding in the long term.
To add more to that old summary, a balance between the emotionally-driven and the intellectually-driven can help. The emotional drives on the inner chaos, but is also needed to break apart the rigid structures that prevent something fuller and more "real" from integrating. It ties into both the darkest and the brightest which is experienced. The intellectual allows bringing order into chaos, and relating things meaningfully in a structured way. It is key to building something new after the old is demolished inside.
But the greatest factor is the mystery of the "third force", neither of the body nor what comes from outside. That's the key to finding more real and permanent higher values, and may become the "director" of the inner process. That's where the larger method to what may seem like madness at the time comes from. In a sense it grows down as people grow up into a fuller integration.
I don't know what the "director" of your process works with. That's a main personal question, different for each. But it probably knows a lot. Its "thinking" may be expressed in old and new symbolic patterns, themes, and things which can be arrived at over time. It can take time to distinguish between smaller and larger patterns, and get a sense of what the whole is really like.
I experienced the larger, much more intense inner drama after gathering information needed to explain it (in a basic intellectual sense). But after some time, older patterns, and old inner tensions, dreams, ideas, etc., seemed like they were very much part of the same whole. But I don't really feel I understand it all yet.

I think living in the now is a good idea to balance the two forces of time but acting like we should give up on all attempts of seeing future patterns is akin to advising everyone to trash their calendars and watches.

The tricky thing about patterns which relate to the future is, the filter of the mind a person has in the present doesn't let a clear picture through. Very rarely, there can be exceptions. But personally, I've found that symbolic information about the future has been packed into my inner life years in advance, but in such a way that it is only afterwards that it can be understood.
Something more vague, and much more general, can be easier to perceive ahead of time. Such as there may be big changes in direction coming up. But when trying to imagine how that will look concretely, the picture imagined will usually be wrong when compared later to what happened.

*Everyone* has multiple personalities. They are parts of the whole You, just as you are a part of the whole One.
Recognizing this and connecting with yourself at this level can be a huge leap forward towards healing.
The next step is to meet each part with love and compassion - be the adult each younger part needed, but did not have.

This kind of reminds me of how years and years ago I stumbled across how the number 49 mentioned in Tibetan buddhism [and more recently I learned that Buddha meditated for 49 days and the Jewish counting of the Omer lasts 49] is the days it takes for a soul to incarnate in the womb.
I learned by some coincidence that's also the number of the electromagnetic spectrum of our experience. The 49th octave is the 7 colors. 50th is ultraviolet.
And I remember seeing illustrations modeling the geometric dimensions of a human head and internal brain organs with the great pyramid.
This was a long time ago, fitting it in to a larger pattern took years and only because the balance of the world is upset did I have time to reflect.

I guess you don't exactly trust the Book of Revelations. Neither do I. Such older apocalyptic predictions of world crises and people being saved by powers from above are like the older relatives of the "star sisters" and "mass arrests", and other miracles which save the day for those who just sit and wait, that Agua likes to laugh about in modern channeling.
I posted a bit about Revelations in the thread about Phantasy Star, a curious old video game series which I find much more inspired and interesting than most channeling. In short, Revelations is like an older version of alien invasion stories where humanity is crushed and the invaders save the obedient and doom everyone else.

I remember that game Phantasy Star I never played it but how it was unique in how one version of it was like one of the first MMORPGs and many people remained fans for a very long time. Longer than most videogames, people playing it online for many years after it was invented compared to most games. The Dreamcast version. As for your question about 50 year anniversary that's a good question considering San Francisco for example was inundated with people visiting for the anniversary of 1967. Because seeing 67 years is something I'm not willing to bet on living long enough or anticipating seeing, I wanted to decode the astronomic and genetic formula a bit more to see significant dates that wouldn't require me to wait another 67 years.

These transformations are so huge, a year or 2 is insignicant. Just like in my topics it's like ok is the pyramid formula 51, or 52, or 51.6? In something so vast it can be approximated by a 2 year period or several months. The reason why we don't use the lunar calendar is because it loses a small amount of time so it would need days/leap years or something over decades of using it. It's math could be corrected with modern technology if the effort was made. Maybe Venuses rotations are more accurately the number 51 or 51.6? Back then I don't think people cared to be THAT precise. 6 being the number 64 needs to be multiplied by 6 to yield 384 times 64 = 67 times 64 = zodiac age x 6 axial precession
so if it was done for 52 or 49 it'd be 6 x one of them, then 49 times the result, and then multiplied in a similar pattern. It's a lot of work that needs to be refined. Maybe 6 doesn't belong as a multiple, maybe it's just a coincidence but I can't help but that isn't true.
