Session 16 - person must consciously realize they do not understand LOO - Bora137 - 02-28-2020

Hi, new here and just trying to get my head round this fascinating material.

So I have a question around a Ra answer (book 1 session 16):

Questioner: I am assuming that it is not necessary for an individual to understand the Law of One to go from the third to the fourth density. Is this correct?

Ra: I am Ra. It is absolutely necessary that an entity consciously realize it does not understand in order for it to be harvestable.

Understanding is not of this density.

So above there is a bit of misunderstanding on Ra's part on what the questioner is asking. However Ra's answer is nonetheless very interesting. He seems to be saying that is very important that we consciously know that we do not understand the Law of One in order to be harvested. However the whole content of the Ra material seems to be around the questioner trying to understand the Law of One. As 3D beings we can never fully know it because it is known only through direct experience but as we are attempting to understand it then our minds will form some conclusion as to the extent to which it does understand it. I know I don't understand it because it is beyond my capacity to but in as far as I understand the Ra material then to an extent I do understand it. Help Confused

It is my impression that people who gravitate to TLOO are the one who have come too far seeking understanding. Ra's quote may be the direct hint that if you are reading this, surrender your knowledge and your urge for knowledge; you must become the service to others or service to self in order to progress.

Haha! What a great example of the great paradox and mystery to it all. This is a great topic and post, and there’s lot I feel I could add to this. Love the first response also!

This life, this existence is such a mystery- or rather, an adventure. To ‘know’ too much would be to ruin it all. It’s actually easy to understand, but it’s so easy to misunderstand it. It’s the experience. This isn’t a ‘learn a fact for the test’ thing. I know that I get to trek through infinity for infinity. This adventure/journey/experience will never end. To get caught up in some simple playbook or ‘how to for dummies spiritual progression’ system is also taking you away from what it is. It would be like having a sex Ed class versus having sex; big difference. It’s a total mind f*** for sure. It’s ok not knowing- so many religions provide that answer. Not saying religion is bad- but it’s only a raindrop in the ocean. Its only one description of the Maker. Every description describes It though. The Law of One is the same thing- one description of The Infinity. It’s fun to learn about it, it’s fun to experience more, but to do so, you have to leave room for what you don’t know. I don’t wanna know everything. I don’t care for having the facts about everything. I know that I can slip into Infinity and flow with It. I can be part of the fractal that’s everything. When I’m bombing down a mountain of powder (skiing?), spear fishing in the ocean, rocking out to the loudest funkiest music on drugs and getting my face blown off at a festival with tons of other people gettin’ down- I’m in it- there’s no thinking. When I’ve experienced paranormal/miraculous things- I’m in It. When I’m ‘outside’ of It, it’s ok. I Think about it. At times I like that I don’t think about It; I worry about the job I’m working on, my next bill, what am I gonna have for dinner...like I’m doing now.

Greetings Bora,

The way I make sense of the very valid point / question you raise is that in / as 3rd Density we cannot truly and totally understand anything, yes we can sort of understand certain aspects of reality, but not totally and completely.

An example: We can know enough about a car to drive it and we can even know enough to repair it, but we we don't know how exactly the atoms that make up the material components of that car are made. I would liken our driving of these vehicles we incarnate into, to this analogy of understanding cars. So our understanding can reach a certain point, but for 3rd Density entities, this understanding cannot be true and complete.

However, we can become dual-activated whilst incarnate ( develop bodies that are capable of existing in 3rd AND 4th Density and eventually procreate fully 4th Density entities ) and you might then begin to grasp certain simple understandings.

For example; I've known since I was 15 that I am not this physical body. Not in a way that I can prove to anyone else, but in a way that has taken me beyond faith that I will still live when this body perishes. But as to exactly WHAT that I am, I am far from truly understanding. That's when teachings such as Ra's become useful for filling in the gaps.

Hope this helps!

I interpret this quote to mean just as Ra says: one must consciously realize he does not understand. This could apply to anything including the Law of One.

It is true that we are attempting to learn, to understand. How are we to understand anything if we do not try? This is the beginning. We are reaching for the lessons of the heart. Beyond this density, we will achieve true understanding of the heart. Then that understanding will be tempered by Wisdom, and Love and Wisdom shall be harmonized upon further work.

I think it means be humble.

Law of One in its whole nature is 'everything is one'.

To graduate 3d, the entity must consciously understand that everything is actually one, united, infinite collective. It must realize that the stone it touches is part of the large infinite collective, the person which passes by is also part of the large infinite collective, the air it breathes also is part of the infinite collective, the thoughts it has are also part of the infinite collective, and in the end, the entity itself is also part of the infinite collective.

'We are all united'

That's what it must understand.

AFFECTION AND REGARD

“It is possible to have great affection and regard for individuals and groups of people without in any way
reducing one's awareness of their currently poor capacity for understanding and preserving their heritage.
The present state of ignorance about distant and former cultures is not unique to this time. Unfortunately,
though, the people of our time are not employing their superior resources to retrieve and develop the
remnants of wider knowledge possessed elsewhere and also at other times.
This is because, while the tools and the general freedom are there for the first time, desire, resolution and
breadth of vision are absent, also for the first time.
The endowment is therefore at risk. For the first time.”

--- Idries Shah, Reflections (London: 1968)

16.21 Questioner: Can you give me some kind of history of your social memory complex and how you became aware of the Law of One?

Ra: I am Ra. The path of our learning is graven in the present moment. There is no history, as we understand your concept. Picture, if you will, a circle of being. We know the alpha and omega as infinite intelligence. The circle never ceases. It is present. The densities we have traversed at various points in the circle correspond to the characteristics of cycles: first, the cycle of awareness; second, the cycle of growth; third, the cycle of self-awareness; fourth, the cycle of love or understanding; fifth, the cycle of light or wisdom; sixth, the cycle of light/love, love/light, or unity; seventh, the gateway cycle; eighth, the octave which moves into a mystery we do not plumb.

[font=sans-serif]52.11 Questioner: Thank you. Just a little point that was bothering me of no real importance.

Well, is there then, from the point of view of an individual who wishes to follow the service-to-others path from our present position in third density, is there anything of importance other than disciplines of personality, knowledge of self, and strengthening of will?

Ra: I am Ra. This is technique. This is not the heart. Let us examine the heart of evolution.

Let us remember that we are all one. This is the great learning/teaching. In this unity lies love. This is a great learn/teaching. In this unity lies light. This is the fundamental teaching of all planes of existence in materialization. Unity, love, light, and joy; this is the heart of evolution of the spirit.

The second-ranking lessons are learn/taught in meditation and in service. At some point the mind/body/spirit complex is so smoothly activated and balanced by these central thoughts or distortions that the techniques you have mentioned become quite significant. However, the universe, its mystery unbroken, is one. Always begin and end in the Creator, not in technique.
