What is truth? - sillypumpkins - 02-23-2020 This is something I've been pondering lately. I think it might be fun to hear what multiple people have to say on the matter. On one level, to me, there is no such thing as truth. This is because we as a people, each have our own truths that we believe in. Not one person is the same. So with that being said, there cannot possibly be a way to properly describe truth in any one definition RE: What is truth? - ada - 02-24-2020 This is quite interesting, ra several times encourage us to seek the truth, and truth is also mentioned along with love and beauty. I think seeking the truth is the journey. Also from the first session: "We have watched your group. We have been called to your group, for you have a need for the diversity of experiences in channeling which go with a more intensive, or as you might call it, advanced approach to the system of studying the patterns of the illusions of your body, your mind, and your spirit, which you call seeking the truth. We hope to offer you a somewhat different slant upon the information which is always and ever the same." RE: What is truth? - RitaJC - 02-24-2020 I believe truth is not some concept or a set of those. I believe TRUTH is who WE ARE RE: What is truth? - Nau7ik - 02-24-2020 Truth is rather subjective in this density because of the veil. There are enduring absolute cosmic laws and principles, but to know that absolutely here in 3D is rare. We must take it on faith and practice faith. There will come a point in each of our evolutionary paths where we become aware of the true nature of reality, we will be unveiled and perfected and thereby ready to experience the Glory of the Limitless Light. RE: What is truth? - flofrog - 02-24-2020 I think we often feel that when we experiment unconditional love, we feel truth is there, truth of ourselves and unlimited truth as everything coalesce RE: What is truth? - AnthroHeart - 02-24-2020 Ra said something along the lines of that we on Earth are not privy to the Truth here. They said like we are not privy to what goes on in 6D, but Truth would be even higher than that. It's like how I feel energy. Someone who does not feel energy is not privy to what it's like to feel energy. RE: What is truth? - Glow - 02-24-2020 The Law of One is Unity. That is the truth. I do feel slightly confused at the fact that I feel lighter when I know I have marijuana on hand, or when I smoke it. The confusion is arising because it feels like I've made it true that I need it or something. That, to me, implies that the truth is malleable for an individual. That is, you can change your truths if you want to. This is causing some cognitive dissonance in my brain. I know we are the masters of our experience, and we can make things true if we want to/let them, but the other part of me believes that some things are just flat-out true for some individuals. I suppose both can be true! Looks like I have some reconciling to do RE: What is truth? - kristina - 02-25-2020 (02-23-2020, 10:43 PM)sillypumpkins Wrote: This is something I've been pondering lately. I see...do you believe that death is transformation? do you believe that love and light is Creation? do you believe that force needs form? do you believe that we are all One? do you believe that Creation is infinite? do you believe that before you can fill something it must first be emptied? This I believe. RE: What is truth? - RitaJC - 02-26-2020 (02-25-2020, 02:40 PM)sillypumpkins Wrote: Thanks for the replies everybody! Contemplating it seems to provide an understanding that is quite hard to really point at and say yes I know the truth I discovered it in a meditation and this is it. The truth seems to be a live thing for me that is infused into my perception of the world around me. I like the analogy of 'seeing'. When you see something your vision can be distorted and sometimes you can need glasses. What distorts your vision of truth is attatchment to specific outcomes. If you really want a certain thing to happen to you, you will believe certain things to make it more possible in your mind. To really see without bias needs dettatchment from outcome. I associate the 5th energy centre (the throat) with truth. Contemplating the ethics of telling the truth or lieing will prove a very fruitful meditation. The 5th energy centre I see as somewhat of a gateway between our inner worlds and the outer worlds. We use speech to convey our inner world to others in order to create the outer world. I have found working on this energy center can bring the inner world and outer world into balance, so that inner intuition about what is true aligns with what you see in the outer world. I have had a few pre-cognative visions that have come true, which has showed me the two can be aligned. The most mind blowing thing I have realised about the truth is that it is both Relative (subjective or personal) and Absolute (objective or collective) at the same time. I feel as though language has a difficult time capturing the full scope of Truth. I've experienced instances of distillations of truth entering my being. I tried expressing it a few times to people but quickly found out there's not much you can say lol. No wonder Jesus spoke in parables. Same goes for the twilight language of tantra. Thanks for sharing RE: What is truth? - unity100 - 03-04-2020 Of course there is such a thing as truth. What is called truth is accurate perception and understanding of the nature of things, events, entities and circumstances. Its not something mysterious, subjective or 'differs' from person to person. But people's reactions to truth, do. When someone says 'my truth', s/he is stating whatever s/he chooses to believe. Even despite beliefs dont change truth. To say “truth is not real” sounds silly to me now. It’s just inconceivable to our limited minds, the entire Truth, so to speak. RE: What is truth? - Foha - 03-06-2020 perhaps feeling more relaxed and comfortable lends to the feeling of being lighter RE: What is truth? - TheJoan - 03-11-2020 I know that you are asking because you are looking for an answer but is it not better to ask that question to yourself? the truth that you seek will be giving to you when you are ready to receive it. Nothing on an intellectual nature is the truth that you seek if not everyone would know it. There is no challenge in reading words and jumping into a conclusion on what the truth is there's no faith no courage no lessons learned here. words only work to convince and describe things now experience brings understanding and change. The truth is an experience. Seek the truth and the truth will find you. Work with yourself, trust your spirit ask and you shall receive. take care. |
