Places of Worship - Plenum - 03-05-2019 I'm on one of my short trips again - this time in Auckland. As I was getting to where I needed to go this morning (down to the Quays) I felt drawn to go down a side street. There were a couple of churches on that street - but one drew my eye. As I was walking past it - I had a look in - and considered going inside. But I thought - "I'm not even Christian. It wouldn't feel right stepping in, just out of curiosity". And I passed a sign where it had the times for Mass, and felt that yes - there ARE times for congregation. And yet - walking further - this was one Long side of the church! - I saw the back entrance, and I had to act finally! and go inside. There was just one older guy in the second back pew - and so I just sat in the last pew on the back right. There was a kind of Cleaner around moving the place, tidying things up. But otherwise - empty. I sat quietly, and felt the Vibrations of the Location. There was definitely a sincere respect and worship in place which was all around. On a supportive ley line? A history of truly decent ministers - which had led their congregation well? Powerful members of the community who were TRULY positive, and left their stamp? Who knows. I stayed there for ten minutes - not really thinking, not looking at my phone, just eyes ahead, and immersed in the Atmosphere. There was genuine Benediction present. Benediction meaning 'well wishes' - the opposite of malevolence. It was just a short moment of my day - but truly impactful. Much Light - - G RE: Places of Worship - isis - 03-10-2019 I love the atmosphere in churches! I get the feeling it can get so good bc of the powerful and "TRULY positive" members of the community leaving their energy stamp. RE: Places of Worship - flofrog - 03-10-2019 I don't know why I find so difficult to post photos !! but I manage videos sort of all right... Here is tiny tiny church in the alps in france, it is overlooking a lake, it sheltered a savoyard priest named Francois of Salles who finished his life there as a hermit.... RE: Places of Worship - flofrog - 03-10-2019 and here is inside I am not a catholic, or even protestant really anymore but I love churches too ! |
