Feeling good for moments - AnthroHeart - 12-15-2018 I alternate between depressed and feeling very good. The good feeling lasts only a few moments. Is this a brain chemical that causes me to feel good? It's usually when I see something that excites me. But sometimes it happens for no reason at all that I can think of. Just a few minutes ago I was happy for like 10 seconds. Then was back to ordinary, feeling a bit down. I know I can't be upbeat all the time, because that is manic. And being manic isn't healthy either. RE: Feeling good for moments - Relax - 12-16-2018 .. had you just eaten sugar or caffeine? have you had a change in meds lately? is this only recent? RE: Feeling good for moments - AnthroHeart - 12-16-2018 It's been happening awhile. Every so often I will get moments of excitement. Usually it's dull. Sometimes even sad. I don't know if I'm depressed, because some say that it cripples them, but I am still functional. RE: Feeling good for moments - Relax - 12-17-2018 have you mentioned this to your psychiatrist? Perhaps it's rapid cycling bipolar... but you didn't answer re caffeine - sugar... you can be functional but depressed... there are many forms/degrees of depression... RE: Feeling good for moments - EvolvingPhoenix - 12-17-2018 Face your fears man. That's what you gotta do. I know cause I'm on the same path of having to do that. RE: Feeling good for moments - AnthroHeart - 12-17-2018 Yes, I drink coffee with sugar. Sometimes 3 big cups a day. RE: Feeling good for moments - Cainite - 12-17-2018 Feeling down is ok.. it feels very natural to be sad. very human.. I sometimes even search for it.. It calms or inspires me. But I wish I experienced less anger. because that blocks me in second and third chakras. You have a roller-coaster. You get High, as sugar and caffeine are two addictive substances that will get you high. They you get the low , crash. Coffee also washes out minerals and you feel thirsty. This is the sign of caffeine-sugar addiction. Try to slow down , maybe to 1 cup a day, and gradually go lower and lower no sugar. And then to nothing. Replace "thirst" for coffee with purified water. Find the one water you really, really like, but not any sugary ones, pure water only. As there's many tastes. And..since you are the Wolf...it stimulates the wrong energy passages in the body, it attacks your nervous system instead of giving it extra energy and protecting it. It creates a fake feeling that you've got extra energy , but you did not, you just forced your nervous system to kick into overdrive. Over. And over. And over. No wolf would drink this junk. RE: Feeling good for moments - EvolvingPhoenix - 12-17-2018 Get used to decaf with sugar free creamer. That way you still fulfill psychological cravings even though you're not drinking caffeine or giving yourself sugar rush. RE: Feeling good for moments - Tae - 12-17-2018 Dull differs from neutral. Dull and lacking in desires is depression, apathy is a key signifier of a symptom often overlooked: anhedonia. Because it's not achingly sad or angry, just empty. It's not a bad thing if your neutral is joyful, and feeling good isn't "manic". Mania is a state that's out of control, not simply joyful, existing in the now in love and light and service to the one infinite creator... mania is the state that makes you go on shopping binges, hook up with your ex, buy tickets to Toulon Jazzfest, or in my case the one time I've identified myself as truly manic, I stayed up for 27 hours straight creating an enormous cartography resource which has served as a major traffic director to my current freelance business. Happy all the time isn't manic. Happy all the time could be everyone's default, only we live in a fear factory... We should not be afraid of feeling happy or sad, and simply just be in our now, in our feelings, with love and gratitude to the creator in ourselves and anyone we so happen to meet. I hope you find some inner peace and settle into a nice comfortable place with yourself. RE: Feeling good for moments - EvolvingPhoenix - 12-17-2018 At least get used to sugar free creamer. I don't think drinking decaf is as important. Although it wouldn't hurt to cut down a little. Maybe two cups of sugar free coffee a day? You could still flavoring it. There's sugar free French Vanilla. RE: Feeling good for moments - Cainite - 12-18-2018 (12-17-2018, 05:55 PM)smiLie Wrote:(12-17-2018, 01:00 PM)IndigoGeminiWolf Wrote: Yes, I drink coffee with sugar.
