A great video for people living in fear of Trump's presidency. - EvolvingPhoenix - 11-17-2018

If only my dad would watch this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulOFJB0AfLo

Even if he did, I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped watching like a couple minutes in to argue that Trump will totally start concentration camps and nuclear war and the 4th reich and blah blah blah and not even watch the rest or take it seriously. It's like he WANTS to live in fear. It distracts him from PERSONAL issues he's not resolving.

The same thing goes for all the other people listening to mainstream media fear mongering on Donald Trump. Sensationalism at it's finest. The news outlets have ALWAYS sold fear to the public and the public has always been a loyal customer. And these people all would probably rather be distracted by this fear than face personal issues.

I'm cautious of the overly reductive mechanisms of "The Work"...
they can be useful - but are not nuanced enough for many peoples trauma

and especially:

which is an expert analysis (by a academic who specialises in investigation of cults, thought-control/"high demand groups") of the actual video (above) in the OP

there are aspects of re-framing what is upsetting to you that can be useful... but taken to the lengths that her philosophy insists upon - there is disassociation/denial, victim blaming and undermining of valid pain that we experience and need to process in a way that acknowledges it (then work to transform it) (not insist isn't happening)...

The Creator is OK with that Smile

Everybody can take it or leave it, if it doesn't seem working for them. No need to start a discussion.

For me, it was an absolute game changer and life saver, when I really started to get it. Leaving behind the victim mentality without blaming anybody anymore (including myself) for my past experiences and their interpretation really did that for me.

Thanks Evolving Phoenix. I'll download next time at wifi place. And agree with you of the propaganda media machine and deep state globalists, including Hollywood.

A favorite of mine that spells it out.

Erm, I should note that by this point, regardless of the deep state globalists, I have changed my opinion on immigration to be more open minded about the immigrants by now. As for Trump, I'm not fearing his presidency, but I'm no fan either.

That being said, thank you for sharing your views.
