Reading Yourself - AnthroHeart - 05-24-2018 I found the best way to read your own self is to not know you're doing it. My teacher gave me a card with a name printed on it, folded up. She told me to move into that person's throat chakra. I began to tell her the images that came into my mind. Standing at the edge of a canyon - Indicates lack of emotion (emotion would be water). Plastic snowman - To me indicates that the kids can't have fun like they would build a real snowman. Plastic indicates fake. Desert sand and cactus - Lack of water, which represents emotion. A suburb where everything was sterile, plain, and nobody communicated. Isolation. Then she revealed that it was my name with throat chakra written on it. I had done a reading of my own throat chakra without realizing it. It tells me that I don't evoke much emotion when I communicate or speak with others. I have trouble speaking my mind face to face. I also saw an image of Chuck Norris, which indicates to me undefeatable. So this may be that I view my difficulty with communication to be undefeatable. I am not a good public speaker. Plastic indicates fake. this says something else, also, thought i'm not sure exactly what. the contrast of a snowman in a desert (in which it would be VERY difficult for it to exist) means.... hells, i dunno. something. the fact that this out-of-place snowman is a fake symbol of itself adds more meaning to the thing i don't know. i think ur right tho. the key to divinations is detachment from the thing read. (sorry, had to take down the ghostwriting bit. that source told me not to post him.) RE: Reading Yourself - OpalE - 05-25-2018 (this bit too.) RE: Reading Yourself - Cainite - 05-25-2018 I just did my own chakra reading. Red : boat Orange: red flower, crack in a wall Yellow: school yard, mountain Green: lake Blue: phone booth, white wall Indigo: sky, a park, opened book RE: Reading Yourself - AnthroHeart - 05-25-2018 I forgot to mention you need to make sure your ground and your crown are open. The energy should flow through you. The higher vibrations you tune into, the better your ground needs to be. It depends on how big the lake was, whether it was still or not, and how you felt about it for what it means. Sky can mean crown chakra, or higher guidance. You should investigate what each of these symbols means to you, and relate them to the meaning of the chakra. Like boat for red indicates that you are on top of your survival needs and feel secure in them. Boats float on water, so you are on top of your emotions. You'll have to see if the boat was moving, or still. What color was it? Was it big, or small? Each of these has a meaning for each of your chakras. And be sure to have your ground and your crown open so the energy flows effortlessly. That way you tune into your guidance. The lake was calm and still. it wasn't small. how I felt about it? I quickly got reminded of your interpretation of water which is emotion. and that the lake was calm. I really like water. rivers, lakes, ... Quote:You should investigate what each of these symbols means to you, and relate them to the meaning of the chakra. It was a small wooden boat, slowly moving on calm water. (may have been not moving though, not sure) What do you think phone booth means for throat chakra? we can call from a phone booth but we can't receive calls. does it mean I'm not accepting clear communication from other people. the next image for throat chakra was the wall which further proves this theory. ''The blue-ray center of energy streaming is the center which, for the first time, is outgoing as well as inpouring. Those blocked in this area may have difficulty in grasping the spirit/mind complexes of its own entity and further difficulty in expressing such understandings of self. Entities blocked in this area may have difficulties in accepting communication from other mind/body/spirit complexes'' -Ra RE: Reading Yourself - AnthroHeart - 05-25-2018 The meaning the symbols have for you would outweigh other people's interpretations. But I would say that phone booths are for calls made in public. White wall would seem to me like you try to connect with the divine but feel blocked. RE: Reading Yourself - Cainite - 05-25-2018 Yeah, but I think you're good at this. seen you interpret symbols in other threads too. that's why I asked. Plastic indicates fake. I also had the image of vanilla icecream in a cone. Vanilla means plain to me, and icecream is frozen. This was my throat chakra. It's like the emotion doesn't flow through my throat chakra, and there's no fun (plastic snowman). I have trouble speaking my mind, although I'm getting better. I freeze up in confrontation. RE: Reading Yourself - flofrog - 05-25-2018 How interesting Indigo, the Indigo I know here, through these threads is very communicative, and warm, generous, attentive. So I would never have gone for a frozen throat chakra. ![]() I was a terrible speaker most of my life, then one day the fear left me, I just had started to fall in love first not necessarily with someone in the public but with the thing I was going to talk about. And then love for the listeners followed immediately. And practically at the same time, the sense fo confrontation, that I was so afraid of, disappeared, for the feeling of" all in the same boat" including those whose opinions differed from mine. For all that is worth... ![]() |
