Is it true to say that unconsciousness only exists as a memory? - sjel - 11-12-2017

One can never honestly say, "I am currently unconscious." Because only the One who is conscious can say that. It appears then that unconsciousness only ever exists as a dream, an imagined memory - and that therefore Consciousness is the only truth.

I remember in a dream, back in 2015 when I was screaming all the time alone by myself.  I often would be so mad at God and my Guides, I'd call waking reality a dream.

Then I had a dream, I said those words, that reality is a dream, then realized almost immediately in shock and some fear, that that moment WAS a dream.

I realized I was unconscious from a conscious state.

Weird how it goes.

As long as you understand you have some unknown desire or emotion which you cannot get to the root of, and you've eliminated any possible conscious origins, you can usually correctly deduce that you have some deep unconscious belief/desire that is surfacing and affecting your conscious mind. This is a pretty important person strategy so you can begin to unravel and make conscious whatever imbalance is deeply embedded.

In a certain sense, you become conscious of your unconsciousness, and that's a big motivation for me to dig deeper to get to root causes.
