If you have engineering background, or get used to logical analysis, you might be interested in reading Itzhak_Bentov's books. He build a model of consciousness and creation using science language.
details:
Several years ago I read the Law of One, I know it's a great book, but hard for me to get all the messages. So I read a lot of others books to "fill the gap", e.g. David Wilcock's books, Omnec Onec's book etc. but I still didn't get all my questions answered.
this week I read Itzhak_Bentov's two books, suddenly I feel like I got all my questions answered and even my meditation have a better progress. that might because after I got all my answers, there're less "tension" or "confusion" in myself, so I am more relaxed.
these are the two book:
Stalking the Wild Pendulum: On the Mechanics of Consciousness,
A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness: A Cosmic Book on the Mechanics of Creation

I think his type of teaching can help certain types of people (e.g. engineering background, or get used to logical analysis) expand their consciousness.
At my current level of ignorance, those two books are the best spiritual development books I ever read, hope those books can help others as well.

The CIA relied on Bentov's work to explain how Robert Monroe's Gateway method works.

This seriously the most interesting thing I've read since discovering The Ra Material. This has been been declassified since 2003? Why aren't people freaking out about the fact that the US military has access to technomagic?
Edit: Jumped the gun and assumed this paper was going to discuss the application of consciousness to affect physical changes in 3D matter, like time portals and what not. It's still pretty freakout worthy though.

I really enjoyed "Stalking The Wild Pendulum", it was the first clear layman's approach to quantum mechanics and set the foundation for much of my later thought.
