Traits of your spirit guide(s) - AnthroHeart - 06-01-2017

I'd like to hear other people's traits they have noticed in their spirit guide.
Mine has many.
1) I can't embarrass him.
2) He doesn't  get offended.
3) He shows me what my ego wants, and lets me decide if I'll take that.
4) He speaks to me through ideas. Not an actual voice.
5) He has more love for me than I can have for him.
6) He is helping me to mature.

And perhaps many more that I am missing. He has helped me to laugh,
and helped me find inner peace. I am no more or less spiritually advanced than him.
We are both equal in our eyes.
He knows how badly I want to meet him.

She is incredibly light and quick. She is compassionate but also very, very perceptive. She also has impeccable timing.

Most of all, she has an incredible intelligence of the heart.

Questions for both of you:

1) What were the first steps you took in beginning a continuous relationship with your spirit guide? Or what were the steps your spirit guide took?

2) Do you find yourself moving in and out of clarity of contact with your spirit guide, based on the purity of your vibration? Or are you in fairly consistent contact?

3) Does your spirit guide ever 'do other things,' or are they 100% focused on you 100% of the time?

4) What were they doing before you were aware of them?

I wouldn't say the relationship is 'continuous' in the sense of constant contact. I can call on her at any point and she will come, but otherwise she 'does her own thing' and otherwise tends to only appear when I'm really stuck. I am a bit of a 'DIY' individual, so I have never deferred a lot to guides, but they have helped me many times. She in particular has guided me in many occasions, only revealing herself afterwards.

My guide has most previously been a member of a council which oversees a system, I cannot say more than that.

Yeah, sometimes it's not clear what our guide wants us to share with others or not. I just use my intuition.

I intuit the knowledge/ideas. I talk to him, but I don't hear him talking back to me with words. I get concepts in my mind.

Probably have been off and on with them for 20 or so years. But more seriously almost daily this last month.
The purity of my vibration doesn't seem to matter in whether they can get through to me. But if I am depressed it becomes harder to "believe" that the ideas are coming from him.

He seems to only be there when I call upon him directly.

I think that they exist for me now because I believe they exist. If I hadn't acknowledged them, they might just be waiting patiently until the time when I am ready to reach out.

When I started my shaman work, I needed nurturing. Now they're a friend and sometimes a teacher. They will act all goofy to get a laugh out of me. Or help me come across videos and texts to help answer my questions about reality.

They are multi-dimensional, so they can be helping me while doing other things.

In hearing what they are saying, I have to have faith that it is truly from them. Sometimes I doubt myself. I use a pendulum to talk with them as well.

My guide is few with words, and is usually naked, and covered in fur. His ideas and few words I find very encouraging.
I don't even have to be in a trance to get downloads from him. But if I want to explore his world, then I need trance.

Hello! How do you contact your spirit guide? I am half way through the book "Journey of Souls" and it talks a lot about them.
*edit* oops, someone asked already. I guess I should read the replies first. Tongue

Mine is a very subtle difference between my guide and my own ego in my head. I have to choose the one that portrays more wisdom and not just satisfy my ego.
Then again, my guide has been known to stroke my ego when I needed nurturing and comforting at first.
He's fifth density so I believe he can create life too, and gave me another character to keep me company when I want a friend instead of a teacher all the time.

It's usually through intuition and not hearing out loud.

Trance as in a hypnotist? Meditation?

Trance as in a deep alpha or theta brainwave state, done through meditation. Although it's hard for me to get that deep without it knocking me out.
In fact doing one task for a length of time makes me fall asleep. Even when looking at art for more than a few minutes.
