Protection from evil - Dog Star - 09-09-2016 Can one increase one's spiritual mass by healing techniques that channel intelligent energy/infinity from ones higher self(i. e faith) which are distored by the second distortion(15.21) and one raise ones spiritual mass to provide one protection/light to ones reality by love/logos.? oneoneoneoneoneone sounds as if one is barking wunwunwunwun, or a car engine wruuummmwrumwrum RE: Protection from evil - Minyatur - 09-09-2016 I do think that'd work quite well. Spiritual mass is awareness. You attract more spiritual mass by increasing your spiritual gravity. Spiritual gravity is "love". Or, we could just call it "polarity". Whether love of self, or love of others, it will gradually and consistently increase one's spiritual mass. Love is a metaphysically pure attractive force. Strong polarity, when pure, offers its own innate protection. The more in alignment with unity you are, the less harm that can come to you. That is a universal law because the intelligent infinity, in such a circumstance, is constantly reforming the illusion of mind, body, and spirit to a form congruent with that unity, which is pure harmony and undistortion. So the more purely you draw upon that potential, the more purely you reflexively reflect the qualities inherent in Wholeness. RE: Protection from evil - Plenum - 09-09-2016 as anagogy said, it's a kind of coherency. it's much more effective to shift the debate from good/evil to positive/negative as that re-instates the sovereignty of choice. Good/evil tends to have a 'finality' about it; whereas positive/negative is an ongoing elaboration of experience. it's also much for effective for integration to consider one's response to other's 'negativity', and see what it says about one's own past choices, rather than holding the other person as being separate and external. It's through that, that the boundary between self and other-self dissolve, and thus there is no resistance. If you can 'accept' the choice for negativity, there's no need to experience it's consequences. Their actions will just pass right through you. There's no need for 'protection', in that sense. / / ![]() Ra on the 'genie' in the top left (with the bow and arrow) "We now speak of that genie, or elemental, or mythic figure, culturally determined, which sends the arrow to the left-hand transformation. This arrow is not the arrow which kills but rather that which, in its own way, protects. Those who choose separation, that being the quality most indicative of the left-hand path, are protected from other-selves by a strength and sharpness equivalent to the degree of transformation which the mind has experienced in the negative sense. Those upon the right-hand path have no such protection against other-selves for upon that path the doughty seeker shall find many mirrors for reflection in each other-self it encounters." I think that the 'protection' Ra is referencing right here is, in this context, is the potential of others changing or influencing you in some way or another. The negative adept protects his identity (his separation, control, and power) through the sharpness of his negative wisdom. The positive adept doesn't require protection from merging or connecting with others because they welcome the opportunity to unify with their other self, and expand there identity through the natural give and take of human relationship. In a more colloquial "bad luck/good luck" sense, there is a type of protection that extends from strong polarity (which is tapping into the power of unity), where one is, by spontaneous inspiration, led away from detrimental probabilities towards probabilities more aligned with one's personal conception of 'well being'. This is the type of protection which is provided by the unblocking of prana. Suddenly your cells are better at taking care of your body, there is more pep in your step, you experience synchronicity constantly, your actions go further and are not resisted as much, good luck seems to find you. The universe starts to periodically wink at you, in other-words. Even though we tend to go through varying high and low cycles of this sort of alignment, it is a wonderful incentive to get a taste of the connection that unity has to offer. It is a magical experience, quite literally. RE: Protection from evil - Verum Occultum - 09-09-2016 How do you understand that negative entities are protected from others? Edit: anagogy, I didn't see your post before posting my own. Maybe Plenum can answer this question? Please. My interpretation is that the negative path is protected because of separation. As it separates itself from others, it loses the ability to see the other selves as mirrors. Where as a positive entity feels sympathy/empathy for someone in a bad situation, which doesn't exactly feel good and can be quite detrimental, a negative entity does not have the same sympathy and in fact will often take glory in the status that it resides much higher up than the one who is in despair. RE: Protection from evil - Plenum - 09-10-2016 (09-09-2016, 04:29 PM)Verum Occultum Wrote: How do you understand that negative entities are protected from others? Hi Verum. I think there have been some great answers so far, and I can only add my own supporting thoughts. First of all, the Card depicted above is Card 6; the Transformation of the Mind. In terms of 'what' is transformed, and how, I would say that it is the formation of certain kinds of mental structures, which I would say are 'crystallized understandings'. For a negative entity, these would be like walls or barriers, which heavily re-inforce the notion of the individuated self. For a positive entity, these structures would be like pools of water, that others can partake of. So in terms of 'protection', the negatively-oriented individual (or even negatively-polarized transformations, which we have all indulged in), there is a kind of numbness or unfeelingness when it comes to certain aspects/vibrations of the other-self. We don't want to 'resonate' or be triggered internally by something that is making itself available. Of course, if we have balanced that aspect, there is nothing to be triggered in the first place, and there is nothing to protect at all. Negativity is just a clinging to one end of the dipole of balance (whichever end that is), rather than recognising and witnessing the spectrum of valid experience. Positivity is not about all good-things, all the-time, but rather allowing the natural unfolding and witnessing of all possible diversity. It's truly non-judgemental in that way. Negativity is always preferential in it's outlook. RE: Protection from evil - Patrick - 09-12-2016 Sometimes, the best protections are the simplest ones.
