Discipline and Love. - Matt1 - 07-17-2016 Quote:The principle behind any ritual of the white magical nature is to so configure the stimuli which reach down into the trunk of mind that this arrangement causes the generation of disciplined and purified emotion or love which then may be both protection and the key to the gateway to intelligent infinity. I think the above quote from 64.4 is a real gem as Ra outrightly states that the use of discipline and love are main factors in awakening ones self to the gateway of intelligent infinity. This is of course in relation to magic or perhaps we could simply call it the occult which Ra corresponds to the indigo ray, Quote:The indigo ray, though precious, is that ray worked upon only by the adept, as you would call it. It is the gateway to intelligent infinity bringing intelligent energy through. This is the energy center worked upon in those teachings considered inner, hidden, and occult, for this ray is that which is infinite in its possibilities. As you are aware, those who heal, teach, and work for the Creator in any way which may be seen to be both radiant and balanced are those activities which are indigo ray. I find this works perfectly in the terms of love and light, and also gives some great insight into the wisdom of the Kabbalah, with the pillar of severity corresponding with degrees of discipline and the pillar of mercy dealing with love, the balance of the will of Geburah and the Love of Chesed. The concentration of the will developed through single pointedness of meditation and visualization under the guidance of the balanced emotions moved unto loving kindness. With that in mind Crowleys words of wisdom sums it all up, Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under will. |
