After we move past violence what do we do for entertainment? - caycegal - 11-11-2015 Presumably as we evolve spiritually we become less and less obsessed with violence and strife. I think the main purposes of it is entertainment and catalyst for evolution. What replaces this? What do we do for entertainment as we move up the ladder? I took LSD a couple of times in the 70's. The first time was a kind of bliss I had never before (in this life) experienced. The second time was so bad that I never again wanted to use any kind of hallucinogenic drugs. Will our entertainment at higher levels of awareness be something like the bliss of my first trip? I can only assume that higher consciousness is not boring. Some spiritual teachers imply that there is nothing but a kind of peaceful bliss. Others imply that there is a constant expansion, always something new. Any thoughts to share on these things? We, as a species, will finally have the freedom to be creative. This can manifest for the individual in infinite ways: art, music, writing, inventing, helping others, crafts... |
