I think this fixing pattern happens to a lot of us - happened me scores of times... I think we have a hard time putting up with disharmony and suffering so we help but on the other hand we are not "bitchy" enough to keep them on their toes. I think picking people who need help is what Ra refers to when they say that 4D make bad choices (I think higher Ds make the same kind of choices).

Besides, guys, don't you think that we might just have different, not altogether conscious, standards of relationships imprinted where we came from, which are rare or non-existent here? Deep honesty, for example. Aversion to pretense and ignoring disharmony, fake smiles and smalltalk and manipulation. Sure, earthly relationships are often built on the opposite to what perhaps is normal for us.

Hmm after reading my post I feel like I came off a bit bitchy so I must add some optimism. I know I'm an old soul I just find it challenging for someone like me to relate to anyone my age. I'm from jersey and most of the people in my surrounding areas are into a lot of superficial things.

It's like no one wants to just sit and have a good conversation with out incorporating alcohol or mind numbing music lol. I know my soul mate is out there maybe I should just walking around with a t shirt that says "missing soul mate have you seen him?" That way it will trigger something in someone's mind! Does anyone want to share how they met their significant other? It will give me hope

I almost almost gave up on myself as a person who can have a fulfilling and love-filled relationship after that experience. Dating didn't work for me so I thought I was not good enough or too weird.

But the failures at dating don't happen us because we are not good enough but because we are different. Perhaps a little more naive, perhaps a little more sensitive.

And then we have a totally different value system. I just cannot get fully involved in all this mill of visiting family, little wars, changing cars and houses and boasting about how much we spent on our honeymoon. It all seems like a bad computer game that bores me to tears.

But give me someone with high integrity who wants that famed full fusion and who wants to grow as a person and whose goal is rather to open his heart with courage than to double his bank account. Someone who sees beauty in nature and the magic. Who travels to higher realms and won't be put off when I tell him about my visions. Someone who will share my need to do an odd ritual to commune with Nature and for whom lovemaking will be a way to fuse with the Creator rather than assert his male dominance and "score".

That would be a different conversation :-) It might even be FUN :-))
