Well that aforementioned measly C class CME/solar flare mentioned by Spaced / zenmaster caused this:

Even California experienced some auroras. Tim Piya Trepetch caught a patch of sky turning purple over the Lassen Volcanic National Park:

Auroras in California from a c-class flare? That ain't normal.

Beautiful picture. The last 3 days all my chakras have been in overdrive. Intense love particularly. I was watching Superman the Movie last night and I could barely watch it because of the emotions it was stirring within me. The beauty and power overwhelmed my senses. I've seen it many times and thought it was okay, but I don't have the attention span to watch movies so usually get really bored half way through. Last night I was just amazed at how a Hollywood fabrication elicited these emotional responses now at this time. I was glued to my seat for the duration. Result of the CME?

Hadn't thought of that. How thoughtful.

Another CME hit last night causing a moderate geomagnetic storm. I like this picture from spaceweather of an aurora in Wisconsin

RE: CME's / Solar Flares and their effects - Spaced - 10-24-2012

Looks like stormy weather on the Sun, there's a 75% chance of M-class flares and 20% chance of X-class flares for the next 24 hours and there's an extremely active sunspot system moving into the Earth side of the Sun.

RE: CME's / Solar Flares and their effects - GentleReckoning - 10-25-2012

In my area, we haven't had much rain all summer, and the last couple days it's been raining intermittently for a while now.

RE: CME's / Solar Flares and their effects - Spaced - 10-26-2012

looks like that active sunspot system has died down so the chance for flares has dropped dramatically.

This happened today, I assumed it was another solar eruption...

It appears that sessions 62 - 64 occurred during this period of intense solar activity. There is also a Book V fragment from that time. I haven't looked into it any further at this point, as I have an appointment coming in...

From my favorite astrologer. Does this resonate?

http://www.lunarplanner.com/SolarCycles.html
Quote:A Renaissance in Consciousness

Solar cycles and their activity play an intimate part in the unfoldment of human consciousness. Solar flares affect the Central Nervous System (stomach lining), all brain activity (including equilibrium), all human and animal behavior and all psychophysiological (mental-emotional-physical) response.

Solar flares can cause some people to be nervous, anxious, worrisome, jittery, irritable, lethargic, to have short term memory loss, to feel nauseous, queasy, and have prolonged head pressure or head aches. They can also cause trouble with the radio, phone, Internet, computers, and all forms of communication--both human and technological.

Solar activity can also be stimulating, invigorating, illuminating, and create a heightened sense of awareness, and it can enhance vision and creativity tremendously. It especially stimulates the pineal gland in the brain, which is our center of vision and creativity. The pineal gland is a "neuroendocrine transducer" that converts gravitational-magnetic signals into chemical hormonal responses that control, via the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland. The pituitary is the master control center of the brain that governs the rest of the neurological system. This information expresses into the cellular structure of the individual--essentially into the molecular matrix of the cell in a "DNA Illumination Sequence" that is responsible for our evolutionary awakening. The pituitary is the administrative seat controlling cellular memory, and hence, the remembrance / emergence of our true selves.

How a person experiences enhanced solar activity is a function of the resonance of their physical neurology. If a person is crystalized with mental, emotional and physical blockages, then increase solar activity may seem uncomfortable. It is like trying to get something to improve in vibrational resonance that has resistance to do so. It a person has a more refined neurological resonance, that is for people that have done the inner work to clear mental, emotional and physical crystallizations, then enhanced solar activity is enlivening, and gives one a heightened perceptual awareness. In addition, if a person's pineal gland is severely calcified, which is common amongst most humans and generally occurs at age six, partly due to the stifling of extra-sensory awareness and creativity when very young, then the pineal is not able to respond (vibrate) to increase "light" solar activity as it should.

Solar activity, although dramatic, catalyzes, and is essential for our evolutionary process by stimulating radical change and transformation in the organizational foundation of matter, energy and consciousness. Solar activity plays an intimate role along with the dynamic transition in Earth's precessional cycle, and the erect precessional cross which occurred around 1998-2000 A.D. and which began the "time of change" in Earth's ~25,000-year "Evolutionary Cycle of the Soul." Solar flare activity and other stellar explosions (supernovas) are the primary catalysts that stimulate a renaissance in consciousness. They provide cosmic impulses that supports the evolutionary maturation of the incarnate soul--the illumination of consciousness that we all seek.

Remember, solar activity illuminates consciousness, dissolving duality's paradox - the fear and judgment based monsters within are consumed in Light - old patterns of behavior vanish, while true elegance and majesty of self emerges.

Yes, thanks for sharing this! I would add that I suspect it impacts gut microbiome function as well.

If I start having physical or psychological symptoms for more than a day, I will usually check the recent solar weather. Probably about 80% of the time there was a recent CME or flare. The very interesting thing is... I tend to start having symptoms at the actual time of the event, before its physical impact on earth.

Speaking of CME's www.spaceweather.com says there are two of them on their way towards the Earth and should impact tomorrow.

2012 solar activity overview

RE: CME's / Solar Flares and their effects - Parsons - 01-10-2013

I am a very quiet, very observant person 'in real life' and don't post so much as observe the forums. (I am not bragging; its a double edged sword.)

I have noticed recently (the past 3 days especially) nearly EVERYONE I interact with has been more irritable/irrational.

Driving to and from work, people are being much more discourteous than normal. I had someone speed past me and flip me off (for the first time in years) because they didn't like they way I changed lanes.

At work, the percentage of irate, irrational customers was extremely high;higher than even during the last week leading up to Christmas(which is usually very stressful for most people).

Yesterday, I witnessed a co-worker arguing in an angry way with another co-worker, which never happens in my presence.

On these forums, it seems like people are slightly more irritable and clearly less considerate of other's words when responding to posts.

I think it may be because of this:

Today(Jan 10th):

Jan 3rd:

Dec 31st:

Solar activity had nearly flatlined more recently; then we are suddenly undergoing a very large uptick over the past week.

So a very sharp uptick in activity seems to provide evidence towards the theory solar activity affects our moods.

i think the CMEs are making me unruly. it feels right. fight the power!

RE: CME's / Solar Flares and their effects - xise - 01-11-2013

My friend and I noticed through the last six months people were more cranky and unexplainably tired during days of solar flares. I also personally noticed that people seemed to drive that much irrationally...not sure how much is confirmation bias as I had a few days where I did not know there was a flare and just noticed "man people are crazy today" and then I later found out that evening when browsing about the flares.

Sun's magnetic field "is about to flip", warns NASA (happens once in 11-years)

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/sun-s-magnetic-field--is-about-to-flip---warns-nasa-131005894.html#9c7fFLu

Quote:The whole of the sun's magnetic field is about to "flip", according to NASA - with warning signs being spotted by observatories around the world this year.

This "flip" happens every 11 years, and coincides with the greatest solar activity in the "cycles" of the sun, known as "Solar Maximum" - with sunspots and "coronal mass ejections" on the surface of the sun.

"It looks like we're no more than 3 to 4 months away from a complete field reversal," says solar physicist Todd Hoeksema of Stanford University. "This change will have ripple effects throughout the solar system."

There is a G2(scale goes up to G5) class geomagnetic storm in progress right now (Verify at http://www.swpc.noaa.gov).

I am curious if anyone is feeling the effects?

RE: CME's / Solar Flares and their effects - xise - 10-02-2013

I usually notice solar effects, but the past few days I've had the flu so my body is in pain and less sensitive :/
