RE: The Dream Thread - Horuseus - 05-27-2013 My dreams seem to have taken on a more deeper and coherent quality, while also becoming clearer the past week. That being said, I am still unable to intellectualize them in any way which may seem remotely sensible. I find myself confounded by those here who regularly have dreams that somehow can be related to this density, whether it be a direct comparison, or archetypal/symbological. RE: The Dream Thread - Hototo - 05-27-2013 Most of my dreams are realtively grounded to this reality in that I tend to not see "things too abstract" in my dreams. Other than occasionally having intentionally generated visual weirdness. But beyond "oh can I do this" its mostly about the people that I meet, up to and including having dreams that continue for years and when I wake up they remain in the position of last activity and when I resume it feels like resuming an RPG. There are a few semi-agrarian societies with dragons and what not that I regularly return to and see what they have done as of late and what they have and if there are new problems. Sometimes I try to redo old quests and go on various rummages underground and various other planar nests including "demon ants" and various other things. Including but not limited to having a regular "hole on that one hallway close to the basement where you have to crawl into in that one "abandonded" castle that leads underground into the demon realms." Some of the stuff I have planned out and implemented in my dreams makes me giggle so much. I havent been to the demon realms of my dreams lately and I mostly visit the angelic realms these days but they are starting to be.. Boring... Last relatively normal dream I had was when I planning to build that dragon and I saw a black dragon with the voice of a car horn (more like a massive truck horn) fly over the city and see me. My most normal dreams is me looking for the holy grail that turned out to be a block of cheese to the 2-4 months I spent talking with my friends seamlessly in dream/reality so that when I fell asleep we continued the conversations that we had while awake and they knew the dialogue as well as I knew even though it was "my" dream. So you tell me what dreams I have ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JosbkEUOXsQ&list=PLFA5A11A3E1D6C532 (this would roughly be in line with some of the visual tunes and styles of my "dreams" in relation to "the abandonded castle") RE: The Dream Thread - caycegal - 05-27-2013 (05-27-2013, 08:48 AM)Not Sure Wrote: Most of my dreams are realtively grounded to this reality in that I tend to not see "things too abstract" in my dreams. You might consider losing the concept of "normal" vs "not normal" with respect to your dreams. Sounds to me as if you have a very active and healthy and productive dream life. Not really: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySadPyWH2jI&list=PLF299E54137C8FA38 top comment kakabukkake0: i know things are bad when Im listening to shadowgate music to relax Let me elaborate something. Back when I was a kid I used to have 2-3 nightmares a week for 3-8 years. I've learned to deal with various dream world things. http://youtu.be/1KykP7uPv0Q There is nothing quite like this song when its played over and over again and you're a 6-7 year old kid that has repeating nightmares over and over again and this part in the game is close to the finish. When the hard part is over. Anyway. Yeah. Dream worlds are nice, once you get them... In order... RE: The Dream Thread - caycegal - 05-27-2013 (05-21-2013, 04:19 PM)Bat Wrote: 19/05/13 Don't know if this works for you but often in my dreams when it is a question of turning left or turning right I use the masculine vs. feminine energy model, i.e,. right = masculine energy, physical action (correlates with pingala energy stream, on right side of body) and left = feelings, intuition (correlates with ida energy stream on left side of body.) This interpretation seems to work usually in my dreams, although dream interpretation is a very individual thing. My daughter doesn't even like to "interpret" at all, although she has great dreams. She just loves them as experiences, but doesn't believe they have "meanings." RE: The Dream Thread - Hototo - 05-27-2013 I used to have a recurring dream where I would feel I need to pee and see myself waking up, walk to the bathroom take a whizz and then suddenly wake up in my bed having wet it. I'm just glad I no longer have those. And that my eyes no longer look like a lich's when I wake up. RE: The Dream Thread - Brittany - 05-29-2013 Last night I dreamed one of my friends and I were forced to fight each other for some reason. It seemed like some sort of tournament. (Mortal Kombat? lol) We were both very adept at hand-to-hand fighting, and the style seemed to revolve around hitting pressure points instead of typical punching and kicking. It was very agile and graceful. We went at it for some time, then I realized he was holding back and letting me win. I told him to stop, to fight me full on, but he seemed incapable of doing so because of me being female. The fight escalated and I ended up really kicking his ass, going overboard due to my anger at his seeing me as less capable just because of my gender. By the end of it he was on the ground with several broken ribs, saying something along the lines of "Ow, that *really* hurt!" and I told him he should have taken me seriously and defended himself, then. The friend I was fighting was very intellectual, so I see him as representing my intellectual brain. Perhaps the symbolism suggests I need to take myself more seriously and give myself some credit, instead of perpetually over analyzing my weaknesses. There was also another dream I barely remember, but it had a bad guy named Samuel in it. He had a very unusual last name that began with an 'N', but I can't recall it. There were also two brothers who were doing something important that I can't remember. RE: The Dream Thread - Brittany - 05-29-2013 After further analysis, I've realized how important this dream really is. It isn't a mere face off with self-criticism, but a joust between the two halves of my brain, or perhaps the two portions that make up my whole being- the part that analyzes, discerns and makes critical decisions, and the part that thrives on intuition, already knowing full well it is capable of everything. It is a well of infinite power and a mind that says I will never be able to control it. There is also the masculine/feminine reference- the part of me that seeks to project and shape my environment, and the part capable of receiving any environment in grace and love. Both halves are needed in order to maintain a balanced being, and they can work together. They just have to believe in each other. In this case, I have to turn my intellect over to faith, in order that it might steer decisions made from the heart in a state of acceptance, worth and trust. RE: The Dream Thread - Plenum - 05-29-2013 good stuff Lynn. My dreams are my best teachers. If I make an earnest attempt to resolve and work with imbalances during the day ... and despite my best efforts with all the knowledge I have and all the knowledge I think is available to me ... and I scour and scour ... and still come up short ... then I dream. and however fantastical, incomprehensible, wild, and even ordinary my dream is ... it will offer assistance and even a symbolic (graphical) solution. sometimes I try interpreting the dream to some other quality or insight, and it sort of fits (but usually not). But 95% of my dreams these days are direct commentary on the previous day's unsuccessful seeking. that's just my current experience of dreamwork. I don't even need to really program it anymore, or try to influence it. The teaching happens as a response to the seeking (empowered seeking). thanks for reading

RE: The Dream Thread - Jeremy - 05-30-2013 Had a dream where the entire goal was to meet each other for a very important meditation. I remember someone running through the woods, another running across a bridge and I was standing in a field waiting for them to meet me. This was like some life or death moment where we had to meet and there was nothin stopping us. Who these people were, I haven't the slightest clue and I can't remember if we actually met. It started raining really hard and within minutes the water was almost up to our window, and we live on the second floor. When I next looked, all the water had dried up, but there was a deep pit in the yard, as if the water had carved away that specific spot for some reason. RE: The Dream Thread - Eddie - 06-01-2013 I had a dream last night that didn't make much sense to me. I was down on the Mexican border for some reason, so I crossed the border into some small Mexican town and wandered around. I saw a cafe and decided to stop in for lunch, as I recognized the restaurant as one I had heard people speak of fondly back on the U.S. side of the border. I was greeted warmly in English by the proprietor; I seated myself and told him to order for me. The first things brought to me by one of the waiters were a very small fried fish, a chocolate-coated cracker, a tiny cup of something sweet and syrupy, and a small glass of water. I tasted a bit of each and then took a sip of water, only to remember the admonition, "don't drink the water"! A waiter had sat down beside me, and I asked him, "Camarero, que bebidas hay?", and he answered in rapid-fire Spanish, too fast for me to understand; then he pointed to a drink dispenser at the along the far wall. I couldn't see it very well through the lunchtime crowd and the mass of scurrying waiters. "Hay Coca-cola?" I asked, and he shook his head, and I could just make out a Pepsi logo on the fountain. I walked up to the wall and couldn't find the fountain that I'd seen from across the room. Frustrated and thirsty, I sat down again at my table, whereupon the cafe owner appeared carrying a larger fried fish, hot out of the fryer, in his bare hands, wincing in pain from the hot oil. He sat it on the table, and before I could eat it, a waiter appeared with a large plate of something mysterious, that clearly had been prepared in hot oil, and the dish was sputtering, splattering hot oil drops on me and the waiter. I thought it would cool down but it didn't; it continued to splatter me and the table with drops of hot oil for some time. I asked the owner what the dish was; "Fried ants", he replied. "We raise them in an old toilet bowl out back", he continued, and pointed out through the rear of the cafe, through the kitchen, which was open to the outside. Apparently this dish was the house specialty. So I looked closely into the dish, and sure enough, it contained thousands of writhing ants in hot spicy oil. I lifted up a spoonful and tasted the dish. The ants were delicate and in fact pretty tasty. There was a bit more to the dream but I can't remember the ending. RE: The Dream Thread - Jerome - 06-01-2013 Is there an informal protocol for interpreting other's dreams in this thread? I'm sharing many of the same settings, themes, and symbols with many of you and I'd like to comment but I refrain to stick my neck into your window without permission. My gut feeling is if you've thought about the dream and are stuck, then hearing an apt interpretation from another is fine, especially since most of you have developed discernment in spiritual matters. For now, I'll stay mum and instead post a recent dream of mine: I was on a square wooden raft in the ocean, trying to decide whether or not I should take a nap or pay attention to the giant fish and sea beasts swimming underneath the raft. I chose to stay on the raft and sleep, hoping to dream, but Rob Lowe was on the raft suddenly. He was securing his legs and arms to the corners of the raft with yellow ropes because, he told me "If you don't do this..." (and suddenly I floated several feet in the air and landed hard on the raft) "that will happen." RE: The Dream Thread - BrownEye - 06-02-2013 Someone was handling what seemed to be a young cobra that was getting feisty, and when he thought he had gotten it in it's cage it shot back out. He caught it too far behind the head and it bit him, I think on the right hand. At the time of the bite it was almost as if I phased into being this person for a second, and yanked the hand back causing a cut instead of an injection. I then phased back out of this person and he cut the head off with his hand, running off to get medical attention. ----------------- Another part, I had hypnotized a dog, and the dog woke as I was leaving it, not wanting me to leave. RE: The Dream Thread - Adonai One - 06-02-2013 The dream began with me walking down my foyer to my living room and finding my father attempting to sleep on the floor. He mumbled something about "something watching us." Suddenly I noticed the blinds to our large living room windows were removed. I looked out of them: It was late at night and in our dark shadowy backyard, right above the fence, was a floating object with a light emanating from it. It was a flying camera peering into our home. I ran towards my mother who was sleeping in the nearby room. I told her that I was going to grab the shotgun and destroy that thing. She told me that it would go away with time and that it was okay. I immediately ran upstairs and grabbed a pair of electronic goggles. As I looked through them, I was able to see through the walls of my home and into the homes of other people, seeing the heat signatures and signals of all that was around me. I was able to deduce that a kid that lived a few blocks over was remotely controlling the camera. I took action and decided to remotely control a drone of my own and to spy on the kid myself. Oddly enough, the drone I chose was some sort of cyborg Praying Mantis that could sneak through the cracks in his home. Freaky dream. With the disclaimer that everyone must interpret their own dreams, I will tell you what I would think if this were my dream. I am in the dream state (non-physical) and am exploring the universe around me without the veil. I can see the thoughts and feelings of others to a great degree by simply focusing on them, and they can do the same with me. I am learning to manipulate and maneuver in the non-physical world, which includes the dream planes. My dream is somewhat disguised or decorated by images that my mind finds interesting. Looking outside my "house" is a symbol for looking outside my personal physical/mental individuality. Keep dreaming, have fun! ![]() (06-02-2013, 06:28 AM)BrownEye Wrote: Someone was handling what seemed to be a young cobra that was getting feisty, and when he thought he had gotten it in it's cage it shot back out. This is my share of how I would interpret if the dream were mine: Handling young cobra getting feisty: I am learning to use my kundalini energy, I am just a beginner at this (the cobra is young). The project is more powerful and tricky than I might have expected. Biting, cut, etc. - just my mind playing with images perhaps??? Or, possibly: Right hand symbolizes action I take in physical world. I have done something that might have hurt me, but it didn't end up hurting me, I just got a minor cut from it, all is well. Hypnotize the dog: The dog is my physical self, my 2D loveable self that loves food, sex, play, and is very affectionate and fun-loving. The dog wants me to keep taking care of it, keep giving it attention. This is my higher self reminding me as I explore higher realms of consciousness, to keep taking care of the my physical needs. Standard reminder: Discard any and all of this if it doesn't feel right for you. RE: The Dream Thread - BrownEye - 06-02-2013 What I could get was knowledge without the wisdom (removing head of snake), and the projection of thought (hypnotizing dog). Sort of a warning against my rate of gaining possibly dangerous knowledge, combined with my working ability, and the effect it can have on others. This is not the first time I have received a warning of moving forward too quickly. My curiosity gets the best of me. The main message I receive today is "luck", which I don't believe in. Yours may apply as well since I can feel the "blowtorch" on my tailbone again last few days.

(I feel that you gave me permission to say something about it in your introduction! Hope it's ok.) RE: The Dream Thread - Aloneness - 06-03-2013 I remember walking around with my ex when I saw cars falling from the sky again. They were '50/'60's type cars, falling in slowmotion. I said "Hey, look. It's the cars again" Well, of course he didn't see them. Then I also some flying animals and decide to walk to a nearby forrest to check it out. The next thing I remember is that I was sitting in the grass, surrounded by people saying stuff like "yeah, it's definitely a nutter" and I thought to myself, this is my chance! So did all kinds of crazy lady things and they took me to a family which try to take very good care of me but for a long time I was simply too angry. There were two kids in this family who often came up to me for a hug and it felt amazing, so loving. There were a few other nutters there and we went on many awesome trips involving lots of cake and laughter. Then: me and my ex were shopping for clothes and I felt deeply attracted to one of the salesman in the store. He was assisting a young boy buying new jeans, the boy was very shy at first but soon he was laughing and acting silly. We all ended up on a huge lounge thing, just chilling against eachother, eating the most delicious food I've ever tasted. I saw my ex sitting somewhere else without any visible expression on his face. It kinda freaked me out but then there this totally cute kitten suddenly jumped on my lap. The end.
