RE: If you could only teach me one thing... - Unbound - 01-28-2014 So would you say the first half was easier done than the second half? RE: If you could only teach me one thing... - AnthroHeart - 01-28-2014 By far. There's a heavy cabinet with books we'll have to move for the 2nd 1/2. Plus laying the tiles. I don't have the funds to get a company to do it for us, else I would. RE: If you could only teach me one thing... - Unbound - 01-28-2014 How easy was it for you to say yes to do the first half? RE: If you could only teach me one thing... - AnthroHeart - 01-28-2014 It took a little effort. It was additional work that I didn't want to do. And we had a measly little blade to cut it with so it was challenging. I have a much better cutting tool now. The hardest is getting the carpet away from the edge of the room. It's usually nailed down, and quite difficult to lift up. RE: If you could only teach me one thing... - Unbound - 01-28-2014 Do you feel you have gained anything from the experience of doing the first half? RE: If you could only teach me one thing... - AnthroHeart - 01-28-2014 Doing the first half just leaves the rest to do. I was fine with the carpet the way it was before it was touched, but my mom wants tile. She was the one that started the project. I just helped out. RE: If you could only teach me one thing... - Unbound - 01-28-2014 Are you not One? Aha I think, if you read these few lines you have written here carefully, you, or anyone, may learn much. |
