Rather than good or bad, I'd rather say it is a distraction from what is at hand. What is at hand is the energy that is being currently expressed, right now.
My signature is from a Ra quote, session 18 I believe. Our friends in 6d directed us to be aware of energy in nature, which I think is the evolutionary force, the impetus to expansion and transformation. Additionally they said to be aware of the intelligent energy expressed in self, which I think is the connection we have to Source/ God/ higher densities.
